Got a question for Natalie Portman or James Franco? Tweet it to #oscarspotting
I am now officially on the ground in Los Angeles for this year's Academy Awards. Since arriving yesterday, I've been blogging, navigating the streets of Hollywood while picking up various credentials, watching Paul Rudd turn into an Irishman and doing a little #oscarspotting via Twitter.
As demonstrated above, I have been posting pictures that capture images from the scene around L.A. in the days before the Oscars and marking with the hashtag #oscarspotting. And, as noted earlier this week, I also am seeking your assistance with red carpet questions, for both the Independent Spirit Awards (which I will cover tomorrow) and the Oscars (where I'll be parked on the red carpet, lobbing absurdities at Hollywood royalty).
#Oscarspotting tweets from around the web:
Most of you probably have a sense of who will be at the Oscars -- your Colin Firths, your Helena Bonham Carters. But to help get your brains in gear for the Spirits, here's a primer on who is expected there.
Many of the same stars who will attend the Oscars are due to show tomorrow afternoon at the ceremony on the Santa Monica beach, including Natalie Portman, James Franco, Annette Bening, Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lawrence, Michelle Williams, Darren Aronofsky, John Hawkes and others. And plenty of other non-Academy Award nominees but equally entertaining people will show up as well, including host Joel McHale, Will Arnett, David Cross, Jon Hamm, Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts.
TweetIs there something you've been dying to ask one of these stars? Or do you have a more pressing general red-carpet question that should be asked at the Spirit Awards or during the Oscars? Tweet it to me @celebritology, using that same #oscarspotting hash tag.
