Oscars 2011: Has James Franco provided a sneak peek of the Oscar opening number?
Once again, James Franco's newly created Twitter account delivers.
A few hours ago, he tweeted a link to the video you see above, which appears to feature Oscar 2011 hosts Franco and Anne Hathaway doing their own version of "You're The One That I Want" from "Grease."
Will this actually be part of the telecast? Is this cleverly edited piece of video, like the similarly tweeted audio of Franco covering Cher, another example of something we won't see on Oscar night? Unclear.
What is clear is the following: Celebritology has decided to change its mission and instead blog solely about whatever James Franco tweets. We will rename the blog WWFT -- What Would Franco Tweet? -- and track every minor move he makes on the social networking platform.
It will be a major break from our mission to cover entertainment news more generally, but whatever. We're sure you'll understand.
