Charlie Sheen has arrived on Twitter

By Jen Chaney

Charlie Sheen is now on Twitter.

He created his account on the social media networking tool Tuesday afternoon and already has more than 500,000 followers, including fellow celebrities such as Will Arnett, Joy Behar and Sarah Silverman.

Can anything good come of this? Depends on what your definition of good is.

Just got invited to do the Nancy Grace show... I'd rather go on a long road trip with Chuck Lorre in a '75 Pacer....less than a minute ago via web

Charlie Sheen, you're an idiot. If you were my friend, that is one of just a few things that I would say to you. Don't join Twitter...you're too old for Twitter. Join MySpace or Friendster or something like that. Anyway, to read my advice to Charlie Sheen, check out http://TrendDefender.com

Man, further proof that life is unfair. A bat guano crazy guy gets on twitter and has almost half a million followers in a day. I have been on for months and barely cracked 100.

@epjd. LOL, he's a celeberty what do you expect? 100 followers ain't bad, besides id bet he wont be on for months, id bet once all this two half men cancellation and arguments blow over he'll stop using it, if he doesn't overdose on drugs first. Of course he is a good actor though and made some really good movies, to bad he is a crazy prostitute buying druggie piece of crap in real life.

I think it's time that we start looking at Charlie Sheen the way we did at Britney Spears. Something's clearly wrong, and he needs help. It's time to back off and take the spotlight off him. I can't laugh at him anymore. Mental illness, if that is indeed what's going on here, isn't funny.

He's gone around the bend ('75 Pacer not required), and Twitter is not going to help him find his way back. I'm with abazoe above, we need to cut this guy off from the spotlight.

This clown is such a waste. He's a loser anyway to look at him. Why is everyone so
interested in this piece of fecal material?
I wish he would flush himself and leave us alone.
