Charlie Sheen on 'SNL' and in his 'Korner'; Lindsay Lohan surveillance video leaked

By Jen Chaney

What was Charlie Sheen up to this weekend? So glad you asked. When he wasn't being parodied on "Saturday Night Live" (see above), he was broadcasting the first online episodes of "Sheen's Korner." (Language, not surprisingly, may be NSFW at some points.) In other news, Mark Cuban is reportedly in discussions with Sheen about doing a reality show on Cuban's cable network, HDNet. TMZ reports that some California marijuana dispensaries are now selling a strain of pot called "Charlie Sheen." And a trio of Salem witches, not pleased by Sheen's use of the term "warlock," have cast a healing spell in his honor. So all in all, a typical Charlie Sheen weekend.

Surveillance video of Lindsay Lohan trying on jewelry at a Venice, Calif., store will stream online via the Web site necklacevideo.com and will reportedly be shown Monday on "Entertainment Tonight." Created by the Spencer Company, a software firm, the necklacevideo site suggests that the footage provides visual evidence that Lohan stole a $2,500 necklace from Kamofie and Co., an allegation for which she currently faces charges of felony grand theft. Meanwhile, Radar Online and other outlets are reporting that the jewelry store allegedly sold the rights to the video in order to make a profit. And the stills already posted on the Entertainment Tonight Web site don't reveal much beyond the fact that Lohan likes to try on jewelry. (People)

I had a feeling Cassidy was gonna get booted first because in all the commercials for the show, he was barely featured. He was the last one shown & not even really mentioned.

Anybody else think that Phil Collins had ALREADY retired?

But for her choice of jewelry, Celebritology might have been sending us to see LiLo at a site called pearlnecklacevideo.com. I'm still working out whether to be disappointed or grateful.

That was David Cassidy? I kept thinking, "Geez, Linda Hunt looks surprisingly good for her age."

For those of us who thought Phil Collins was dead, the announcement of his retirement is kind of like a comeback. So congrats, Phil.

"Julianne Hough has been cast in movie version of "Rock of Ages" and will star opposite Tom Cruise." This has 'HIT' written all over it. Right after the letter 'S'.

Love the new photo, Jen. I for one welcome our new Celebritology overlord. We have always been Jen Island. We have always been at war with Eastasia.

Liz who?

I thought Jen's new motto might be "Alone Again, Naturally".

Where did Liz go? Pop2Zits or something?

I saw a couple of episodes last summer of a show David Cassidy starred in with his daughter in which he played an outdated, irresponsible former rock star trying to make a comeback. It was cute in a Nickelodeon sort of way.

Dear Mr. byoolin:
Congratulations, you have won today's Internet! Please find enclosed one token redeemable for a ridiculous video of your choice.

Phil Collins has a medical condition? Phil Collins IS a medical condition.

Phil Collins comes back from the dead at the same time that previews for the next season of Walking Dead are announced. Coincidence?

From what I've seen of David Cassidy, he appears to have booted early and often....in the face.

While we're on the subject of face shots, Byoo' , I think you're gonna have trouble getting ZZ Top to authorize the appropriate sound track for that LiLo pearl necklace video.

Nice picture of Jen for the new blog header.

Whelp, Charlie Sheen will have plenty of time in his Korner and to hang out with Beezlebub, I mean Mark Cuban. It's official. Charlie Sheen fired from 2.5 Men.

Also from the Charlie Sheen batcave, apparently Gary Busey has made public statements asking him to get help. Or something to that effect, anyway - Gary would never use such straightforward language. Now when Gary Busey thinks you've gone around the bend...

In other news, this morning I saw a poster for a summer movie about a "fugitive celebrity slacker alien." My only question is, why is a Randy Quaid documentary called "Paul"?
