How much is Justin Bieber's hair worth? $40,668. Roughly.

Justin Bieber's hair has sold on eBay for a reported $40,668, according to People magazine.

Yes, that's the same hair he recently cut, and subsequently donated to Ellen DeGeneres, who in turn auctioned it off as a benefit for the Gentle Barn, an animal rescue organization.

The identity of the lucky bidder is unknown at the moment. And what said bidder plans to do with the hair also remains unknown. (Maybe sell it on eBay for $81,336 and immediately double his/her money?)

This much is clear: You can still get access to Bieber hair courtesy of this fabulous doll, which will retail for a far more affordable $17.99 in stores later this year.

What a golden opportunity I clearly missed last week when I trimmed several inches of broken and split ends off my graying hair. Instead of tossing it onto the compost heap, I coulda had it auctioned off at the Lizard Island Tiki Bar as a charity fundraiser. Or for my own profit. Or... (now that I think of it, I'd rather it be in the compost, instead of encouraging anyone who's wacko enough to waste the money).

Well, at least we can shake our heads laughing over the silliness of it instead of shaking our heads over the tragedy of it like w/Charlie.
Was the last $8 for shipping or something?

Lucky? or foolish? And, what idiotic fool would want to be known as the one ... oh, well, lets hope he/she actually wanted to give the money to charity and properly disposed of that hair in the nearest trash can.
