Police search Charlie Sheen's home; Miley Cyrus lashes out at paparazzo; Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel split
Charlie Sheen, restraining order-free. (AP) Los Angeles police searched Charlie Sheen's home last night for firearms that might have violated the terms of the restraining order filed against him by ex-wife Brooke Mueller. They found one gun, an antique, and a few bullets. In related news, Mueller and Sheen have reached an agreement that nullifies that restraining order and settles the custody issues involving their sons, but the details of said agreement were not revealed. Sheen tweeted his praise of the LAPD and later added, "50 cops in my home. they all left. I'm still here. WINNING? 24/7." (Associated Press) Miley Cyrus doesn't hesitate to let a paparazzo have it when he accidentally runs into her mom with his camera. (The Hollywood Gossip) Reps for Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake confirm that the couple has officially split. The stars of "Valentine's Day" and "The Social Network" have been dating...

Celebrity justice: Lindsay Lohan in court, Charlie Sheen files suit
Lindsay Lohan, not pleading. (AP) Lindsay Lohan made a brief appearance in an L.A. courtroom today, where she chose not to agree to a plea deal in the case of the $2,500 necklace she allegedly stole from a Venice, Calif., jewelry store. Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz gave the actress a bit more time to ponder the matter; he will hold a hearing on March 25, at which time she could still accept the offer that, according to an E! Online item, includes six months of prison time. If Lohan sticks with her plan not to plea, a preliminary hearing in the case will be held April 22. Or, to summarize more succinctly: Lohan came to court in another chic, body-hugging outfit and pretty much nothing happened as a result. Meanwhile, over in Charlie Sheen's corner of the celebrity justice world, he filed a $100 million lawsuit against Warner...

Lindsay Lohan does first post-rehab interview and sounds remarkably self-aware
Lindsay Lohan has given her first post-rehab interview to Extra. In it, she sounds contrite, self-aware and focused on turning around her career. No, seriously, she does. During the brief appearance, the first of two parts, the actress talks about her focus on maintaining sobriety and her desire to get back on a movie set. She realizes, however, that the second goal won't be achievable until she can convince filmmakers and casting directors that she's insurable again. "I think that will come in time, where I'll be in the position to say that," she said, "because I don't think I am right now." "I don't want that to be what I'm known for anymore, the tabloid stuff," she later added. "I don't want that." Honestly, despite the fact that she's facing potential jail time in that grand larceny case, this could not be a smarter time for Lohan to...

Lindsay Lohan: No plea deal (yet) in grand theft case
Lindsay Lohan reportedly will not strike a plea deal to avoid jail time in the case of the possibly pilfered necklace. According to TMZ, Lohan will go to trial after judge Keith L. Schwartz made it clear in a Wednesday hearing that she would face jail time if she agreed to a plea deal. Lohan is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Santa Monica, Calif. jewelry store. She pleaded not guilty to the charges in February, but prosecutors have since produced a surveillance tape showing Lohan leaving the store wearing the necklace. In related news, Lohan was reportedly stopped by cops Sunday in West Hollywood after a Porsche she was driving was clocked at 59 MPH in a 30 MPH zone. Lohan is, of course, still on probation stemming from a 2007 DUI conviction. We'll update with more details as they become available. Your Browser DoesNot Support...
