Today's mission: Find a gift for the celebrity-obsessed intellectual, the person who regularly reads the New Yorker but sometimes hides a copy of People magazine behind it. It's Christmas Eve. Present-acquiring time is rapidly running out. But if you're shopping for an intellectual who also has a healthy fascination with fame, you should be able to find at least one of these options at your nearest book store, or get a gift card that will allow the recipient to buy them later....

Think of these posts as our gift to you. We're just that generous. Today's mission: Donating to a celebrity-endorsed charity in the name of a friend or family member. Only imagine the looks of wonderment when your loved ones open their "gift" to find out that instead of socks or movie theater gift cards, you've given them the gift of helping to build a school in Africa. And, the best place to find out what celebrities champion which causes is looktothestars.org, a virtual clearinghouse of information on the world of celebrity giving.
