Richardson's Formal Announcement

New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson has been in the hunt for the Democratic nomination for months, but he made it official today in Los Angeles when he formally announced his candidacy for president. Richardson also released video clips of the announcement in English and Spanish.

Sound Bite: "My experience makes me the best qualified and most prepared candidate ... No on-the-job training needed. We all know how well that worked out with the guy who currently has the job."
