The Romney campaign has YouTubed a radio ad that starts running in Iowa and New Hampshire today. The minute-long announcement stars the former governor's wife, Ann. She talks about Mitt as a father, and describes how the couple met at a party during high school.
Ann points out that Mitt says his greatest success is getting to say "I have been a good father, and a good husband," and that the former governor always told her that her job as mom was more important than his business career. It's pretty clear this ad's all about family values and defining the candidate, and it's another strong example of how campaigns are using spouses to tell the candidate's biography.
