Ad Watch: Two New Ones From Bill Richardson

Bill Richardson has two new TV ads that start airing in Iowa today.

The first ad, called "Focused," is similar to the biographical ads produced in the past. It talks up New Mexico's economic rebound.

"Candidates" continues the "Job Interview" ad series featuring some office workers shuffling through resumes of potential job candidates who are applying to be president. Richardson appears at the end of the ad.

These new ads, touting the governor's economic policies, come two days before he unveils a jobs and economic development plan in Iowa.

Things might have just got tougher for Richardson. A documentary aired on PBS in New Mexico and Texas tonight at 7PM called Portraits of the Southwest or Road Closed - Without Notice. The film reveals Richardson documents showing that the Governor was aware that a gay couple had the road to their property closed after five years of trying to get a business license and another five years of trying to figure out without much help who closed their road. They were forced to drive in a canal to get rid of them. It seems one of the two men was recently found dead in a place in the desert called Radium Springs Hotel.
