New McCain Ad: 'Outrageous'

The ad isn't outrageous, but the title is. The 30-second ad, "Outrageous," will air in New Hampshire and in the Boston media market, in order to reach Granite State residents who live in the southern reaches of the state.

It ticks off a number of so-called "wasteful spending" projects, and ends with John McCain stating, "I'll stop wasteful spending by Congress, and restore American's trust in their government."

This is similar to previous McCain ads that targeted Hillary Clinton, and her support for federal funding for a Woodstock music festival museum.

Senator McCain wants to have it both ways. He supports the surge, yet also states that Bush has got it right now in Iraq. Well Bush supports torture in Iraq. Bush does not support Democracy in Iraq. No reconciliation in Iraq to date. Just what is it that McCain wants to bragg about in Iraq?

g.w.FOUGHT HIS WAR PLANING ON EASY WIN.
A SHORT STAY IN IRAQ. AND A GOLDEN LEGACY FOR HIMSELF AS A WAR WINNING PRESIDENT. GOT INTO HIS TOP GUN SUIT AND CLAIMED VICTORY. HE HAD BASED HIS WAR ON LIES AND HALF TRUTHS. WITH NO PLANS IN PLACE FOR A PEACE. WHEN EVERYTHING HIT THE FAN HE HAD NO IDEA OF WHAT TO DO. AND DID NOTHING.JUST THROW MONEY AT THE PROBLEMS.
MOST OF THE MONEY WENT SOUTH. NOT TO BE SEEN AGAIN. THIS STILL GOES ON FOUR YEARS LATER.BUT NOW WE HAVE 3800 DEAD 30,000 WOUNDED AND BILLON SPENT. WITH NO END IN HIS SIGHT. HE WILL JUST GIVE THE STICKY END OF THE STICK TO THE NEXT PRESIDENT. AND PASS ANY FALIURES AND BLAME ON TO THEM.

cut wasteful Big FedGov projects? okay, how about starting w/ Iraq??

about the only thing McCain is right on is his firm stance against torture.

John McCain has voted for every single supplemental for the occupation of Iraq, and the costs of that unnecesary conflict are now closing in on half a TRILLION dollars. It makes the stuff he's complaining about look like chump change.

McCain has always shown himself a fiscal conservative. Ron Paul is the only GOP candidate with a better proven track record and not just a bunch of talk. With the falling dollar and China looming on the horizon, a balanced budget would be a nice change from the Republicans. And whatever your stance on the war, McCain knows how this story goes and wants the troops safe at home as much as anyone. Surge now instead of dragging this out another 6 years is his mentality I think. I don't have the creds to question him on foreign policy.

McCain is, as the song said, so Temporary.
Stop, and quit the negative ads. You can
not win. Not that you are so far behind.
You just don't have what it takes to win.
Prove me Wrong

FORGET ALL THE OTHERS. JOE BIDEN IS THE ONLY ONE QUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT

Posted by: CREIGHDON | November 13, 2007 10:10 AM

All you Bush hating liberals make me sick! Try coming up with solutions instead of pointing the finger and blaming others for all the problems that have occured. He's not the problem; you all are the problem. If you don't like what is going on in this country then take matters in your own hands and vote for the people that you think are going make the needed changes. This is how a democracy works. You vote, get your friends to vote and if you get enough then your "representative" will make the necessary changes.
