McCain's Ad on Healthcare

Sen. John McCain released a new health care ad in Iowa today. The 60-second television spot launched a day after McCain started his "Call to Action Tour," which focuses on his health care proposals. He kicks off the tour in Florida with a speech and continues to Pennsylvania, Iowa, Ohio and Colorado.

The ad, called Health Care Action, says the biggest problem "with health care in America is not the quality of health care, it's the availability and the affordability."

Health care has been one of the primary issues in the campaign so far and McCain is trying to distinguish his plan from those of his Democratic opponents. For example, while both Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama advocate a form of universal health care, McCain's plan does not outline any required mandates.
