A Year's Worth of Political Conversation
washingtonpost.com's PostTalk program is marking its first anniversary of interviews with presidential candidates, congressional leaders, governors, and other newsmakers.
Chris Cillizza reviews year one:
In the past year, PostTalk contributors interviewed Joe Biden (twice), John Edwards, Mike Huckabee (twice), John McCain, Ron Paul, Bill Richardson, and Mitt Romney (twice). There were also conversations with Rep. James Clyburn, Sen. Richard Durbin, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Sen. James Webb, and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Sen. Chuck Schumer, and Rep. Ellen Tauscher. PostTalk also interviewed Governors Sarah Palin, Tim Pawlenty, Ed Rendell, Mark Sanford, Kathleen Sebelius, and Eliot Spitzer. And there were chats with Bush advisers Dan Bartlett, and Ed Gillespie, former Cheney adviser Mary Matalin, Democratic strategist Bob Shrum, LAPD Chief William Bratton, and actor Sam Waterston.
We suspect there will be many more.
