Bill Clinton Gets Testy With Heckler
At campaign event in Fayetteville, West Virgina, former President Bill Clinton exchanged sharp words with a woman in the audience.
The woman, who turned out to be a supporter of Sen. Barack Obama, said in an interview after the event that she asked President Clinton about his wife's healthcare initiatives in the 1990's.

What's wrong with poor Bill Clinton, can't he take the heat of the questions asked by those attending the rallies?
This bozo is nothing more than a womanizer who is trying to get his "wife" into the oval office so he can get his hands on some new interns. What a loser! And so his is "wife" Hillary! That's a laugh!!!!

If Bill Clinton "can't stand the heat", then he should "get out of the kitchen".

I AGREE WITH CARLOS! BILL WANTS HIS WIFE ELECTED SO HE CAN "SNIFF" AFTER NEW WHITEHOUSE INTERNS! THESE CLINTON'S ONLY
CARE ABOUT THE CLINTON'S AND THEIR HUGE EGO'S! THE CLOCK IS RUNNING OUT ON THE CLINTON'S. ONLY BUSH'S AND CLINTON'S HAVE OCCUPIED THE WHITEHOUSE SINCE 1989. IT'S
TIME FOR CHANGE OBAMA OR McCAIN!

The Clintons need to chill and gracefully exit before they further damage their legacy. Obama's rise will not be damaged because the man shows intelligence, class and sophistication under all the mudslinging the Clintons are throwing his way. You can take the man away from the trailer but you'll never take the trailer away from the man!!! How very sad!

Well, Bill, you distorted the bottom line, which is that during 8 years you and your Co-president did a grand total of almost nothing to change health care in our country. Hillary can take some credit for helping to get insurance to some children that did not exist before the Clinton years, but Hillary's grand efforts as an unelected health care czar were divisive, arrogant, and were a nice rant for republicans in 1994 when they swept the 1994 elections and took over both houses of congress. Let's talk about the Clinton's grand record on health care and other issues. The economy was great in the late 90's, but not much for the voters Hillary now has mesmerized. It was overseen by a republican congress (thanks Bill, you managed to get elected in '96, by looking like a moderate republican), and as we have seen was a bubble for the wealthy waiting to burst. Little Clinton things like NAFTA are now coming home to roost for working class americans. Now here she goes again, touting her hopeless health care plan that she will "fight" for. Fighting doesn't make bipartisan deals that lead to real change, it only looks good when you are hopelessly behind and need to create fear and loathing for your opponent.

When you work your ass off for something year after year and some old hag starts up with you havent done anything at all blah blah blah ...... I WOULD BE PISSED AS HELL AS WELL!

It's sad seeing the greatness of a president I once respected get flushed down the toilet like this. I kind of feel sorry for the Clintons.

obama supporters are actually beginning to believe that electing a 1. absolutely inexperienced person 2. who had a chance to show himself - but never did anything to do that
to be the ceo of the biggest economy of the world will be beneficial to them. i wonder what the same people would do if they had a lot of money, and would be voting for a president of the bank that takes care of it... would they vote a person who only says 'vote for me, i will change it for the better (=empty rhetoric of obama)' or will they vote someone with experience and proven aptitude and track record (=clinton or mccain).
guys, times are tough. presidency is not the right place to learn. NO president did well when he had to learn in the office..... no one AT ALL. dont let yourselves be brainwashed. please.

Yeah, this is getting Sick.
Fact is, Hillary DID drop the healthcare ball rather quickly. Who knows, maybe politically it was too hard and "not gonna happen", but bottom line is she Gave Up on it.
She had eight years to build support and gather a coalition, and squandered it doing "First Lady" garbage.
I haven't thought about this in that perspective, but it really makes Hillary look either Lazy or Uninvolved. Seems she was happy to be first lady and promote her "It Takes A Village" book.
I just think the point is moot at this point. I don't want to kick her when she's down. I agree with Tetris, I feel bad for both of them.

why are people just plain refusing to admit that had obama been a white he would never be where he is (can you deny that he made the numbers just because of 90+ % of black support of those that would not have even voted had it not been for supporting him due to his color?)... this comes from an african american supporter of clinton who is not letting all this peer pressure brainwash him. i am definitely vote for mccain, even though i am a democrat if those 2 are the finalists.
obama=division along racial lines due to blind following on the part of the black community. we will have a black president one day, but this one is just not qualified enough. sorry. check the stats. and the church that he goes to.... why do you think oprah left it over ten years ago? no, man, this guy is the 'wrongest choice' that the black community has made today, and unfortunately things got out of control before people realized it.

The facts that this heckler obviously missed are:
1) Hillary Clinton has stated that the first round of her plan was flawed and has documentation of teh process to improve it.
2) Obama doesn't have anything original. He basically copied Hillary and changed it a little and has nothing to show that it will be effective.
.
Bill Clinton speaking directly and honestly is so refreshing compared to the smug, nose-up-in-the air, packaged arrogance of Obama.
.
That heckler was rude and classless -- she interrupted his speech... She wanted attention. Well, she got it.

Well at least he didn't yell that the American people casting some votes for Hillary was teh FIRST TIME he felt proud of America!!
Do you hinestly want Michelle Obama as First Lady?
Posted by: truthDigg | May 11, 2008 9:09 AM
regarding Obama, I'm gonna say it: the emporer has no clothes. My family all have bought the Obama stuff but I don't.
Hooray for Bill Clinton, for having the courage, strength and intelligence to call out an asshat spouting incorrect info inteh middle of his speech.
I've noticed that a lot of Obama supporters are pushy and rude like that.

What is Obama's health plan??
It's basically a rip-off of Hillary's with some changes geared toward political pandering -- but it would leave out 15 million people.
If that heckler genuinely want a dialogue or to make a point, she could have waited until his speech had just finsihed. What she did was abusive and even if what she said were not distortion, it was still trashy the way she did it.
If it had been done to Obama, his security would have had her yanked out and summarily dismissed.

its one thing to ASK a question
but this woman INTERRUPTED the former PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES and asked the question and then talked OVER HIM when he tried to answer.
BO supporters happen to be the MOST EMOTIONAL bunch and really dont use good sense .....this woman is a perfect example
it was BAD MANNERS at the VERY least
at worst it was an act to gain political advantage for someone who SAYS he is running some kind of DIFFERENT campaign....what a load of BULL

I have had enough of the Clintons. I am tired of their lies. Bill disgraced the presidency once, and I don't want to give him the opportunity to do it again.
As a Republican, I am voting for Obama. I believe he will reach out to the rest of the world and regain much of the trust and respect Bush lost for us. Yes, it does matter in this shrinking world.
Most important he has good judgement and is not swayed by "politically correct" positions. I admire his standing against the war when it was unpopular to do so. That's the kind of judgement I want to see in a President.

The Clintons....hmmm lets see...they lie to get what they want or for what they did wrong...she is either for or against what is popular at the time; she DID drop the ball regarding healthcare; she has now made racist remarks in her campaign; Bill has used the black people for his own and her plans for the White House...I could go on and on and on..she turned her back for years regarding Bill's "affairs"...remember Jennifer Flowers who came public and said she and Bill had an affair for 15 years....Hillary is a disgrace to womanhood and marriage and would be a disgrace to the White House...I have followed most of her campaign talks and it's amazing how many relatives she can recall that lived where she's campaigning; wake up America and she her for what she is and be afraid of what she can do if elected......

The real white trash side of Bill raises it's ugly head. This guy was president and he is arguing with complete strangers in a parking lot. He has no class
