(Chelsea) Clinton's Mother's Day Message

A new, online-only video voiced by Chelsea Clinton urges supporters to send her mom a special Mother's Day message. The production includes several photos of the former first daughter, her mother, and grandmother.

"Remember, your little girls can be anything they want to be in America when they grow up. Even if it's to be the second woman president," Chelsea says at the end of the video.

The campaign sent supporters an e-mail with a link to the video, where they can also send a message to the senator. Chelsea and her mother will hold a Mother's Day event Saturday in New York City.

Chelsea'
Yes your mother did the things that most mothers do. However, you were there in Bosnia and you knew the truth. Guess you're right. You do share the same values, promoting falsehoods. American mothers of all colors, socioeeconomic levels and cultures are smart enough to note the inconsistencies.

I'm an Obama supporter but I think if this video had been representative of the HRC campaign Senator Clinton would be our nominee. Chelsea that was inspiring. Thank you for taking this moment to lift us up and bring us together.

"I'm Chelsea Clinton. My mother made it possible for many thousands of Iraqi mothers and children to lose their lives in a pointless, senseless war. But she did it because she thought being a hawk would make her look strong and help her get elected, even if it was the wrong war against a country that had not attacked us. Please reward her craven calculation, so that more mothers and children in Iran can die too. It will help the rest of the world feel better about America again. I know that doesn't make any sense, but please vote for her anyway, simply because you're a woman. Because I really, really miss being able to visit the White House. And besides, it's my parents' God-given right to live there. Thank you."

I had a scary thought... what if Chelsea tries running for office (and then president) in the future? What if she tries to become the first female president after her mom fails? Nothing would drive me crazier than that. Chelsea seems so cold and out of touch.

As I talked to my sister this morning, she was mentioning that her Mother's Days never really ended up the way she had always hoped they would be! She then asked why it has always been so much of a struggle for her! We began to cry when I started to read to her over the phone, the article about "Quitters Never Win." We somehow manage to finish it, between sniffles, hard swallows, and tears. Then laughter filled up the rest of the phone call as we said "I love you, Happy Mothers day, sis." I then turned and kissed my mom. When I hung up the phone I was so grateful for your article. Thankyou, Ellen, for that Mother's Day moment with my sister and my mom.
Thankyou Chelsea

Chelsea....I don't doubt that you hold your Mom in high regard...that's the way it should be....but President of the USA...no way....she has no experience other than the wife of a President; she chose to look the other way with all of the affairs that your father had; she backed him up with his lies and her goal...which she made known way before you were born....was to be in the White House...she is for and against anything and everything that is the popular way to go...so I hope you enjoyed Mother's Day with your Mom that's the way it should be but no I cannot believe or want her in the White House....
