Easley for Clinton in New NC Ad

As she has in Pennsylvania and Indiana, Sen. Hillary Clinton is making use of her most powerful surrogate in North Carolina. Gov Mike Easley (D) appears in a new 30-second spot, singing the New York senator's praises.

Here's the script:

These are tough times in America and I think that Hillary is the one we can count on to get the job done.
She's going to turn the economy around, she's going bring new jobs, she's going to get some tax cuts for the middle class for a change.
She's going to make health care available to everybody in this country, and she's going to do everything she can to help every child reach their full potential.
She is so resilient, so determined. She knows how to deliver. She'll be a great president.

Gov. Ed Rendell, and Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter both appeared in Clinton ads in Pennsylvania, while Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) stars in an ad for her in Indiana.

Is this the same guy who compared Rocky to a pansy ? There goes the gay vote.
To all those people who pretend to let all the votes be counted..... WAKE UP.....
The votes from now on don't count for anything.... the superdelegates will make the final decision.... so why not make it now....
It's time to pull the life support that is keeping Hillary alive.

This is a great lady, who wouldn't love to support her? She is very smart, experienced and battle ready to solve numerous problems facing this nation. She deserves every help she can get. Thanks a lot Gov. Easley for your support. These are my kind of men, men that are not easily influenced by empty rhetorics, men that are dependable, not back-stabbers. In all relationships loyalty matters, many have climbed to political ladder through the generousity of the Clintons, but now we need them, some are looking for positions in an impossible Obama fairytale. Obama cannot win in Nov. the sooner the supers get that, the better for us all. All polls shows that McCain is beating Obama on all counts and all categories. Obama is too immature, too inexprience and depends on blacks votes too much. Obama cannot win in Nov. with the black votes alone.

she is fighting for winning the election, not for anybody else. I dont know when her moronic supporters will realise this plain and obvious truth.

Keep fighting Hillary, I am with you all the way.

If Obama wins the presidency, I think people are going to realize the error of the "frat party mentality" that has been the essence of his support base.

I wonder how many people regret their primary vote and would switch were their primary held today.

Facts are a stubborn thing. Obama cannot close his 20 year old relationship with Wright because there is so much video evidence against it. On the TV program THE VIEW, Obama declared that Reverend Wright accepted that his view were inappropriate and mischaracterized. That it had offended many people. Then weeks later Wright goes on a national Hate America Press Tour? This was a blatant lie. Or worse, Obama was fooled by Wright which is kind of scary. That a possible next president can be played by a character such as Wright. Check the video evidence yourselves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6J7yJ9R5p0

Please People should wake up, this might be a strategic from Republic that had and made americans to undergo both image and economic traumatic conditions for eight bad years. I think they are sponsoring and getting independents to go OBAMA way, since it is clear that "on so many other factors" Republican candidate McBUSH will defeat OSAMA when it comes to general election. This is enough for the wise. Momemtum, is a temporary thing. LETS WAKE UP FOR THE NATION TO MOVE FORWARD AND REGAIN IT PAST GLORY DAYS.

no way obama...talking dosent fill our gas tank...their is differnce between being orator and making things happen...no way obama

I love how Obama is trying to spin his inaction as action and trying to spin Hillary's action as inaction. His ads say that Hillary's solution is not a long term solution. Hello? It's a summer gas holiday not an end to the gas tax. It's supposed to be short term relief. Does he think we are idiots?

I just read an article titled " Clinton sheds tough image " I suppose she can do that because she is a snake. Someone should do a comedy documentary starting at the beginning of the Primaries to now.

Posted by: Ron | May 1, 2008 3:08 PM

Democrats, delegates and superdelegates need to assess democratic voter
sentiments. Recent and earlier polls indicate that if Clinton gets the
nomination, a very significant number of Democrats will vote for McCain, while
if Obama gets the nomination very few will vote for McCain. That says that a
Clinton win is better for the Republican camp. Obama clearly has more appeal
to the widest number of people in the most states and therefore will better
unite the Democratic party for a win in Nov. Clinton thrives on dividing
people and has no use for you if you don't agree with her. Obama thrives on
bringing people and ideas together and is therefore good for the party and the
country.

"Although Hillary Clinton has offered solid and sensible policy proposals, Obama's strike me as even more so. His plans for reforming Social Security and health care have a better chance of succeeding. His approaches to the housing crisis and the failures of our financial markets are sounder than hers. His ideas for improving our public schools and confronting the problems of poverty and inequality are more coherent and compelling. He has put forward the more enlightened foreign policy and the more thoughtful plan for controlling global warming."

- Quote from former Clinton Administration Labor Secretary Robert Reich who has endorsed Obama

Posted by: Factory Worker, Akron Ohio | May 1, 2008 3:14 PM

You have your polls reversed. It's exactly the opposite of what you describe. If Obama wins a lot will go to McCain. If Hillary wins the nomination more will stay with the dems. Get your facts straight.

Posted by: Shahn | May 1, 2008 3:16 PM

To Hilleritas and McCainites, please let us rally around Barak now, no more hate. He must do that which every politician must do. But with our support, he will be elected President. Perhaps then a serious discussion on reparations for our past sins of slavery and Jim Crow laws can begin. Once America has paid for it past mistakes by voting for Obama, and the Reparations checks are sent out, then the healing and acceptance of the majority can be considered by the minority. This is the "Change we can believe in!" We paid the Japanese who were interred in concentration camps during WW2, $20,000 each, for 400 plus years of slavery and racism, much more will be required.

How come every post about Hillary references fighting. That is all she does is fight. What happened to concensus building? She is too arrogant for that. The "fight" is over. She is just hanging around to the final bell but not the victor. I am starting to see Bill Clinton's action in a different light.
Remember gals, fighting does not always work...how is that national health care paln she "fought" for in 1994?

Posted by: mark | May 1, 2008 3:33 PM

Hopefully the country is waking up to the real facts in this campaign, HILLARY IS GOING TO TAKE IT, AND oBAMA THEN WILL HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO MOURN OVER THE DEATH OF HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH THAT PASTOR.

OBAMA MADE A POINT OF INFORMING THE MEDIA THAT HE DID NOT ALL THE ADVANTAGES OTHERS HAD BECAUSE ECONOMICALLY IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE. IS THAT A REASO TO VOTE FOR THIS IDIOT? gwb WAS BORN WITH A SILVER FOOT IN HIS MOUTH (AND HUNDREDS OF SILVER SPOONS) MORE MONEY THAN GOD, AND HE WAS THE WORST PRESIDENT THIS COUNTRY HAS EVER HAD!

SORRY OBAMA, IT JUSTIS TOO DAMM BAD YOU WERE A DEPRIVED CHILD (SO YOU CLAIM), BUT THERE ARE MANY MANY OF OUR GREAT MEN,WHITE AND BLACK, WHO HAVE ACCOMPLISHED WONDERFUL THINGS FOR OUR COUNTRY. wHAT IS YOUR NEXT EXCUSE FOR BEING AN INADEQUATE CANDIDATE. OR IS JUST YOUR DOWN RIGHT SELF IMPOSED ELITE IMPRESSION OF YOURSELF THAT IS FALLING APART, AND YOU CANNOT COPE!

Posted by: lynn parker | May 1, 2008 3:50 PM

Lynn Parker, what is it exactly that Hillary has accomplished? She is only in her second term in elected office, a seat that was essentially handed to her. Other than that her "35 years" of government experience is being Bill Clinton's spouse. While that may be tough duty, it did not require winning elections or passing bills. And I think we are all aware she did not bring peace to Northern Ireland or dodge bullets in Bosnia. Do these lies not bother you? When you and the rest of the gals in the menopause mafia refer to her experience, what SPECIFICALLY are you referring to?
Obama has held elected ofice for a longer time and won it on his own merit, not his spouses coattails.
So, ease up babe.

It's not at all surprising that no one -- not hillary, obama, or anyone else -- has demanded an apology from easley or even slapped him on the wrist for his homophobic comment comparing rocky to a pansy. also not surprising that the candidates (all of whom oppose equal marriage), by their silence, condone gay-bashing. what profiles in courage!

A Fair question to ask the Hillary Campaign is would they use the Pardon Executive Order to Get out of this Mess of Campaign Finance fraud with Peter F Paul , thats got Bill and Chelsea involved as well , I Mean the question is fair just how far one is willing to push to get Elected with the stakes so high wouldn't this be a question of Qualification for the Office of Presidency above all the other Conflicts of interest ??????????????

Hillary needs the Presidency at all costs to pardon her self and everyone involved in the trial in Clinton fraud case , and given the relationship the Clintons have had with the Rev Wright in the past , it is possible Rev Wright made deal with them to bury Obama , to get the Nomination , if this happens , then what does Peter F Paul have

While Hillary Clinton battles Barack Obama on the campaign trail, a judge in Los Angeles is quietly preparing to set a trial date in a $17 million fraud suit that aims to expose an alleged culture of widespread corruption by the Clintons and the Democratic Party.

At the conclusion of a hearing tomorrow morning before California Superior Court Judge Aurelio N. Munoz, lawyers for Hollywood mogul Peter F. Paul will begin seeking sworn testimony from all three Clintons - Bill, Hillary and Chelsea - along with top Democratic Party leaders and A-list celebrities, including Barbra Streisand, John Travolta, Brad Pitt and Cher.

Paul's team hopes for a trial in October. The Clintons' longtime lawyer David Kendall, who will attend the hearing, has declined comment on the suit.

The Clintons have tried to dismiss the case, but the California Supreme Court, in 2004, upheld a lower-court decision to deny the motion.

The recent coverage of Rev. Jeremiah Wright has often cast him as a marginal, almost fringe figure, but Trinity Church is a major Chicago institution, and Wright has long been a prominent pastor on the American scene.

And an anonymous blog set up to defend his church offers some compelling photographic evidence of this: A photograph of Wright and President Clinton, which it says was taken on Sept. 11, 1998 -- the date of a White House gathering for religious leaders.

[UPDATE: The blog seems to have taken that item down; here's the full image that was posted.]

Hillary Clinton, according to her recently released schedule for the day, was present at the gathering. Al Gore also appears in the picture.

MY FELLOW "BITTER", STUPID, WORKING CLASS PEOPLE :-)

If you think like Barack Obama, that WORKING CLASS PEOPLE are just a bunch of "BITTER"!, STUPID, PEASANTS, Cash COWS!, and CANNON FODDER. :-(

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience can manage, and get us out of two wars better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) went to war only when he was convinced that he absolutely had to. Then completed the mission in record time against a nuclear power. AND DID NOT LOSE THE LIFE OF A SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER. NOT ONE!

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience saving the environment is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) left office with the greatest amount of environmental cleanup, and protections in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with little or no education experience is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) made higher education affordable for every American. And created higher job demand and starting salary's than they had ever been before or since.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience will be better than Hillary Clinton who spent 8 years at the right hand of President Bill Clinton. Who is already on record as one of the greatest Presidents in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that you can change the way Washington works with pretty speeches from Obama, rather than with the experience, and political expertise of two master politicians ON YOUR SIDE like Hillary and Bill Clinton..

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think all those Republicans voting for Obama in the Democratic primaries, and caucuses are doing so because they think he is a stronger Democratic candidate than Hillary Clinton. :-)

Best regards

jacksmith... Working Class :-)

p.s. You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you don't know that the huge amounts of money funding the Obama campaign to try and defeat Hillary Clinton is coming in from the insurance, and medical industry, that has been ripping you off, and killing you and your children. And denying you, and your loved ones the life saving medical care you needed. All just so they can make more huge immoral profits for them-selves off of your suffering...

You see, back in 1993 Hillary Clinton had the audacity, and nerve to try and get quality, affordable universal health care for everyone to prevent the suffering and needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of you each year. :-)

Approx. 100,000 of you die each year from medical accidents from a rush to profit by the insurance, and medical industry. Another 120,000 of you die each year from treatable illness that people in other developed countries don't die from. And I could go on, and on...

DEBATE! DEBATE!! DEBATE!!!

It's time for everyone to face the truth. Barack Obama has no real chance of winning the national election in November at this time. His crushing defeat in Pennsylvania makes that fact crystal clear. His best, and only real chance of winning in November is on a ticket with Hillary Clinton as her VP.

Hillary Clinton seemed almost somber at her Pennsylvania victory speech. As if part of her was hoping Obama could have proved he had some chance of winning against the republican attack machine, and their unlimited money, and resources.

But it is absolutely essential that the democrats take back the Whitehouse in November. America, and the American people are in a very desperate condition now. And the whole World has been doing all that they can to help keep us propped up.

Hillary Clinton say's that the heat, and decisions in the Whitehouse are much tougher than the ones on the campaign trail. But I think Mr. Obama faces a test of whether he has what it takes to be a commander and chief by facing the difficult facts, and the truth before him. And by doing what is best for the American people by dropping out of the race, and offering his whole hearted assistance to Hillary Clinton to help her take back the Whitehouse for the American people, and the World.

Mr. Obama is a great speaker. And I am confident he can explain to the American people the need, and wisdom of such a personal sacrifice for them. It should be clear to everyone by now that Hillary Clinton is fighting her heart out for the American people. She has known for a long time that Mr. Obama can not win this November. You have to remember that the Clinton's have won the Whitehouse twice before. They know what it takes.

If Mr. Obama fails his test of commander and chief we can only hope that Hillary Clinton can continue her heroic fight for the American people. And that she prevails. She will need all the continual support and help we can give her. She may fight like a superhuman. But she is only human.

Sen. Hillary Clinton: "You know, more people have now voted for me than have voted for my opponent. In fact, I now have more votes than anybody has ever had in a primary contest for a nomination. And it's also clear that we've got nine more important contests to go."

Sincerely

Jacksmith... Working Class :-)

Obama is a speaker, not a leader, people. Wake up and realize you don't know this person at all. NOT AT ALL. How can you defend someone you barely heard of a year ago. Naive, foolish people.

This is what the mainstream media should be reporting on. Let's make it happen:
http://video.yahoo.com/watch/1771494

For those of you who think this case has been thrown out or is irrelevant:

"In the landmark civil fraud case against Bill Clinton in Los Angeles, where the former President is charged with defrauding a Hollywood dot com millionaire to help Hillary Clinton obtain more than $1.2 million from him for her 2000 Senate campaign, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aurelio Munoz ruled on Friday, April 25, 2008 that Hillary Clinton would not be required to testify in a sworn deposition as a material witness in the case until AFTER the November election!." (paulvclinton.com)
Here is the kicker - the judge is a Bill Clinton appointee!

Since the media is refusing to reveal/report the Paul vs Clinton fraud case in court right now, we need to create our own movement and flood every blog with information from the case.

For those that don't know - Google Paul vs Clinton and hold on to your shirt with what you read!!

INDY NEWS CLINTON SOLD OUT DEFENSE INDUSTRY TO RED CHINA

What Clinton never includes in the oft-repeated tale is the role that prominent Democrats played in selling the company and its technology to the Chinese. She never mentions that big-time Democratic contributor George Soros helped put together the deal to sell the company or that the sale was approved by her husband's administration.

Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., and Rep. Pete Visclosky, D-Ind., said the move would leave the United States without a significant domestic source of rare-earth magnets used in smart bombs. The Valparaiso plant made about 80 percent of the magnets bought by the Pentagon, they said.
