New Ads for Clinton in Kentucky and Oregon

Proving she has no plans to leave the race just yet, Hillary Rodham Clinton is airing new messages in Kentucky and Oregon.

"Partner" delivers her economic message to middle class voters.

"It's hard to pick between a gallon of milk, and a gallon of gas," says one man in the ad.

"Right Track" delivers a similar economic message, but provides more specifics:

In Oregon, Clinton is airing an ad that strikes back at D.C.-based journalists/pundits that suggest the Democratic race is over. It calls out MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, NBC's Tim Russert, and ABC's George Stephanopolous, a veteran of Bill Clinton's White House.

"In Washington they talk about who's up and who's down. In Oregon, we care about what's right and what's wrong."

The pro-Clinton American Leadership Project is also airing ads in Oregon. "Middle" is targeted once again at middle class voters, and discusses Clinton's energy plans:

It's time for everyone to face the truth. Barack Obama has no real chance of winning the national election in November at this time. His crushing defeat in Pennsylvania, and loss in Indiana and West Virginia makes that fact crystal clear. His best, and only real chance of winning in November is on a ticket with Hillary Clinton as her VP.

Sen. Obama has zero chance of winning against the republican attack machine, and their unlimited money, and resources without Hillary Clinton. Zero chance.

It is absolutely essential that the democrats take back the Whitehouse in November. America, and the American people are in a very desperate condition now. And the whole World has been doing all that they can to help keep us propped up.

Hillary Clinton say's that the heat, and decisions in the Whitehouse are much tougher than the ones on the campaign trail. But I think Sen. Obama faces a test of whether he has what it takes to be a commander and chief by facing the difficult facts, and the truth before him. And by doing what is best for the American people by dropping out of the race, and offering his whole hearted assistance to Hillary Clinton to help her take back the Whitehouse for the American people, and the World.

Sen. Obama is a great speaker. And I am confident he can explain to the American people the need, and wisdom of such a personal sacrifice for them. It should be clear to everyone by now that Hillary Clinton is fighting her heart out for the American people. She has known for a long time that Sen. Obama can not win this November. You have to remember that the Clinton's have won the Whitehouse twice before. They know what it takes.

If Sen. Obama fails his test of commander and chief we can only hope that Hillary Clinton can continue her heroic fight for the American people. And that she prevails. She will need all the continual support and help we can give her. She may fight like a superhuman. But she is only human.

Don't be fooled by the pledged delegate, and math arguments. Neither candidate has the necessary pledged delegates. The entire delegates counts, and votes from Florida, and Michigan are not even being counted. Plus the democratic caucuses, and primarys have been heavily corrupted by fraud, and vote cheating. The only relevant question now is who can best WIN IN NOVEMBER and take back the Whitehouse for the American people. And the answer is HILLARY CLINTON. Everyone knows that now.

If we go with Hillary we will win!!! Ask her ANY question and she knows what to do. It's not written down because the answers are inside her, she knows what needs to be done on every issue. No stumbling or grasping for words, no pauses-just an answer that comes from a deep knowledge base and the personality and demeanor to not back down but still be able to discuss those who put her down without going off the deep end. She understands politics but is not comfortable on a rock stage. She is comfortable talking to citizens and people who ask questions. She knows the answers and she has the ability to get it done.

The two biggest losers during the Dems primary campaigns are not Bill and Hillary as she can be a powerful Senate majority Leader and Bill's approval rating is still 52% within Dems. Chris mathews and Keith Olbermann are the two biggest hate mongering, unethically onesided, extremely sexist, and phony journalists that I have ever seen within the world of News/medias. I will celebrate the day when colleges/universities starts teaching journalistic ethics to their students so that the people like these two will no longer be accepted as a journalist in a reputable news/medias. So, these two being the biggest losers, it is fair to say that they are the Worst People In The World For The Entire Year Of 2008".

Wonderful videos Hillary! Well done! I pray the people who watch them can recognize and appreciate the images of an older, more experienced and strong woman capable of making real "changes." If not I say just give them what they want...another woman showing off her goodies while dancing around "the man." Maybe the mere shock of such an act would help people to FINALLY realize how sexist the press - and many Obama supporters - have been with you these past months.

It's over and Hillary lost. No chance to win unless she breaks the rules, which she usually does. Get over it, Hillary lost. Poor Hillary!

Posted by: It's Over--Poor Hillary! | May 17, 2008 12:05 AM

Right on Hilary Clinton all the way to the white house.
Democracy is where your voices are heard and everyone votes, not backroom deals Obama likes.
Vote for Hillary, rally for your Nation cause shes proving she has the guts to deliver. Dreams do not become realty unless you vote and further more Hilary said there is power in a Dream when it becomes realty and that what you need to embrace.

Hey Oregon Sweeties, don't forget to vote for Obama on Tuesday

Posted by: Pat | May 17, 2008 7:05 AM

How can a person who was merely a member of the party out of power in the Illinois state legislature just three years ago be qualified to be President of the United states? In state legislatures, members of the minority party have zero responsibilities. They mainly just vote on legislation developed by the majority party and make speeches.

Sen. Obama is very much the product the old politics in search of a new package. He is the candidate of choice of many who recognize his almost hypnotic speaking skills and tremendous ambition but see him malleable for their own purposes.

Sen. Obama conjures up two troubling images: That of another well intentioned but naive "uniter not a divider" GWB, and the very bright, decent but incredibly naive Jimmy Carter who promised to change Washington DC with disastrous results.

Senator Clinton is very much an agent of change but one who actually knows how to solve problems and make government work. We face skyrocketing oil prices, unemployment, a huge national debt, wars abroad and countries seeking to develop nuclear weapons.

This country cannot afford to let some in the media in concert with backroom politicians with unrealized ambitions select the next President. Too many in the media and too many politicians have failed ask hard questions about Sen. Obama's qualifications or how he plans to accomplish change. They know he lacks both. They are simply pursuing their own agendas.

I'm sure Sen. Obama means well. He's just not prepared to be President.

Realistically, how can Sen. Obama with the US Senate's most liberal voting record reach out in a bi-partisan manner to effectively govern? Despite his caucus and primary victories in states like Idaho, Kansas and North Carolina, how can he hope to win the White House when those states vote predictably and historically republican in Presidential elections and he can not carry Texas, Ohio, MA, Pennsylvania, CA or West Virgina, states crucial for a Democratic victory? Who expects FLA or Michigan to vote Democratic in November when their states have been disenfranchised by the Obama machine? Why haven't many media outlets pointed out that in the three special congressional races where democrats recently won, that those districts all also voted for Clinton? Those are some of the questions that should be asked. If Oregon votes for Clinton they will have to be asked. And super-delegates who are mostly politicians themselves, will have to pay attention.

Says jacksmith: But I think Sen.

Are you serious? Why would Sen. Obama do what everyone thinks Hillary Clinton should do? Drop out, you say? Ignore the math? Ain't gonna happen. I see Hillary's supporters have come to this blog to make it seem like more than 10 Americans want Hillary for president. OMG...you people have really lost your sense of reality. This is freaking unreal.

Posted by: Hollyinla | May 17, 2008 11:22 AM

Another jacksmith attack of lunacy:
You have to remember that the Clinton's have won the Whitehouse twice before.

Which is precisely why ''they'' are losing it this time around. The Clintons dream of ownership of the WH is so over. As many of
my fellow bloggers have suggested: Stick a fork in her. She's done!

Let me guess. Yall be a Hillary suppota from Nawth Cahlina? Rot? Ah am reaally skeered fuh them pawty eldas. Ohhhhhhhh.

When Hillary knocked Obama down by 41 points this week in WV, news/medias ignored her overwhelming victory by not even mentioning her name next day, but just covering the Edward's endorsement as if all dems needs to follow them now. That was one of the ways of liberal news/medias protecting their God obama so that he would not look like a defeated leader. I heard Hillary's female supporters in Ohio(and in neighboring states) are uniting together to protest the unjust treatment of Hillary by liberal news/medias throughout this campaign in order to uplift their candidate Obama for nomination. I would like to hear more about this protest movement if anyone can share with us.

4lattee says: Ask her ANY question and she knows what to do.

I have a question for her since she knows all. When are you going to admit that you have lost the nomination? Say what? Didn't hear your answer.

Posted by: Holly | May 17, 2008 11:41 AM

Hillary's answers.

I will obliterate Iran.
I will give you gas tax relief this summer that I cannot give you.
I was right about my vote for the Iraq war.
I won't give a photo op to leaders of foreign countries, I'd rather obliterate them.
I don't put my lot in with the economists.
The white people, the hardworking people vote for me.
I love guns, I love to shoot.

Her answers sound like the republicans answers. Her votes look like conservative votes.

The Utah Sweetie thinks Obama wins on personality alone. But his great foreign policy strategies and outlook really cinced it for me.

It's the math, stupid.

Posted by: Ana Sarcas | May 17, 2008 5:28 PM

Yeah, I really want to vote for a person who thinks there are 57 states, who has a racist pastor who when Obama wrote a book he thanked his pastor him for his guidance, a man who got his senate job by backstabbing a friend, (look that one up for details) Let's see, I want to vote for someone who has radical friends who had a party for him when he enetered the race for president, Yeah that's my choice. Cause I'm a stupid sheep. Obama, just cause I really want to make sure the good ol' US is really messed up even more than it is.
I even like the sexist mass media extolling his virtues, he's fresh, he's new, he's black, OH MY HE'S THE BLACK MESSIAH, THE CHOSEN ONE.
Yeah, I'm stupid, I'll vote for that, cause I have no mind. It doesn't matter anyway, It's the US, and the popular vote doesn't mean diddly so I might as well just go with the flow and NOT use my mind. Superdelegates, go ahead vote for Omaba, be afraid, be really really afraid, not of what this country will go to if an inexperienced, untried person with radical people surrounding him should get the presidency, be afraid of doing the right thing and voting for a real leader instead of voting for someone because black people identify with him, Yep in America anything can happen, and lately it's just been all bad.
Did I mention it doesn't matter anyway cause my vote doesn't count? SUPERDELEGATES, YOU GO (away...)

Posted by: Susan Powers | May 17, 2008 9:41 PM

If you ask an Obama supporter why they support him they say, he represents a new, different politics. When you ask further, well what will he do that is new and different, you get a blank stare. When you ask how he will unify a divided nation, you get a blank stare. They don't have a clue as to why they support him.

It's amazing how being self-delusional can end up with you spending even more of your own money on a losing campaign. Save your advertising dollars for another day Hillary, you're not going down in history, you are history!

Posted by: The Virginian | May 18, 2008 1:37 PM

nice strawman Hugh Strauss:

I support Barack Obama cuz he AIN'T hillary clinton. he doesn't carry the baggage of the clinton presidency. he isn't stuck fighting the battles of the past with the "vast right wing conspiracy"

most of the bad things that occured during the clinton years were NOT the fault of the clintons. Bill and Hillary were the victims of the most vile and disgusting attacks in political history

and America knows that now

we don't need a clinton repeat to vindicate hillary or bill. their vindication will come as a result of the destruction of the repuglitard party'

and that is what Barack Obama will do

the repuglitards are going to throw some GREAT hissy fits in the near future. they will explain how everything that is wrong is a result of the Democrats

and America is going to LAUGH in their faces

we've seen thru the repuglitards' tricks. the propagandized media like the wapo has been exposed for what it is

nobody believes anything the repuglitards say

when they come out trying to smear Barack Obama, most of this nation is going to tell the repuglitard party "ENOUGH ALREADY"

can you hear me now ???

guess it wasn't such a good strawman after all, huh ???

For people who think Hillary has the answer to everything, here is one question for her.

If you can't run your own little primary campaign without running into debt, how do you plan to run this big country without running us further into debt?

Posted by: Jeff Steele | May 18, 2008 1:52 PM

you can google "womencount pac" for more info about the protest movement by Hillary's female supportes that you are talking about.

Posted by: Sima | May 18, 2008 3:17 PM

Hillary has learned how to give a very good, if not excellent, speech. Most women, and certainly any decent actress could duplicate such a speech, particularly if they practiced it hundreds of times and were critiqued by professional speech writers. In order to vote for such a person as President you must believe that the motivation for parroting the words arises from a deep seated belief that regardless of any political consequences that person will not only be unwavering in support of achieving such stated aims regardless of consequences but also can persuade and convince other politicians to follow your lead
Hillary's past conduct in trying to get a health care bill passed when her husband was President and her blinding ambition which enabled her to deny her husband's repeated sexual adventures, her commodity financial killing, support of Her husband's pardons of convicted criminals resulting in great financial benefit to her brothers, her repeated references to an event in Iraq which didn't happen, her change of positions on many issues such as NAFTA and the resolution in favor of the Iraq war,her attacks on Barack Obama to the potential detriment of the Democratic party ald her need to strip the White House of silverware and plates indicate to many a person who is driven by blind ambition and need for power and money which would influence her actions more than her stated aims. Character and honesty do count. There is no question that a woman can and will be President within the near future but it should be a woman of character and honesty who will overshadow her male competitors.
To refuse to vote for a candidate solely or primarily because of race or religion is as disgraceful as voting for a woman, or against a man, solely or primarily because of Gender. This country deserves a woman of unquestionable character as President

The Citizens living in Hawai'i are having *Fits* & *Outraged* writing endless letters and commentaries to both the Honolulu Advertiser and Honolulu Star Bulletin since they printed that the appointed junior Senator is coming to Hawai'i possibly giving a speaking engagement inside Punchbowl National Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii. It's a Veteran's National Cemetery not Obama's personal "Soap Box," to stand on and rant; it's a place for those resting in peace. The people of Hawaii are angry at the thought of this and have every right to be at the report he's planning this - it's a disgrace. Punchbowl would NOT be a "wonderful backdrop." Talk about crass -- speechifying in a national cemetery during a political campaign. Imagine this: thousands of enthralled Obama supporters rushing around the cemetery to get close to the man, trampling over the graves of men and women who've given their lives in service to their country. The reactions posted in Comments still, when the idea of a Punchbowl speech was first floated are from angry families whose loved ones rest in peace. National cemeteries are no place for political speeches. Makes you wonder about the maturity and integrity of the people who proposed such a preposterous idea in the first place.

Senator sell your socialism opinions on Capitol Hill, Hawaii's questioning and lost respect for the "so-called," junior appointed Senator who's turned into another Washington D.C.*Wanna-bee* just allot of talk nothing more. You'd make a great car salesman NOT A PRESIDENT you seem to sell plenty of B.S. to those not wise enough to read between the lines of a script written performance; every word out of your mouth is written by a paid staff member whose worked the D.C. circuit for years like the well known Mr. Rove," Yes, he too could write a good speech and America bought it; just look at our current sitting "Bobble head," in the oval office.

Webster's Fourth Edition describes Barack Obama as a "HYPOCRITE,"!!! His own previous Pastor taught Trinity Church words of hate and racism while the Senator and his air-head-of-a-wife passed the tithe platter not giving even as 20 year members. He doesn't support any causes really, not even his own Church "just the views of Reverend Wright's anti-White; anti-Israel; anti-American points of view. The greedy Senator is what the Bible refers to as "HYPOCRITE,"!!! He's a Racist Elitist Marxist or the Antichrist reading his well written speeches. the *Wanna-bee* Washington Politician has in less then 12 months become a disgrace to Christianity- He's not a Christian man of his word; a poor excuse for one.

The Punchbowl National Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii is a sacred place for the many lying in Peace, Those US Military young and old, Men and Woman who gave their lives to this country will turn over in their graves at the sound of Obama's political performance if he speaks there. Punchbowl Cemetery it's not a place for a campaign rally "The Senator should keep his political performances with its Washington Socialism undertones to an area more suiting for "HYPOCRITES," Senator your always welcomed to rant at Neil Abercrombie's headquarters, but Punchbowl Cemetery is a resting place of peace and should remain so for those who rest there, - not an arena for your personal political agenda; Show some decency and class moron!!!

Clinton has taken Kentucky and Obama is right there in Oregon.
The Democratic race for nomination is still very much alive - and most likely to be decided by superdelegates - as CNN points out clearly

If you're tired of waiting around for those super delegates to make a decision already, go to LobbyDelegates.com and push them to support Clinton or Obama

If you haven't done so yet, please write a message to each of your state's superdelegates at http://www.lobbydelegates.com

Obama Supporters:

Sending a note to current Obama supporters lets them know it's appreciated, sending a note to current Clinton supporters can hopefully sway them to change their vote to Obama, and sending a note to the uncommitted folks will hopefully sway them to vote for Obama. It's that easy...

Clinton Supporters too .... !

It takes a moment, but what's a few minutes now worth to get Clinton in office?! Those are really worth !

Sending a note to current Clinton supporters lets them know it's appreciated, sending a note to current Obama supporters can hopefully sway them to change their vote to Clinton, and sending a note to the uncommitted folks will hopefully sway them to vote for Clinton. It's that easy...
