New McCain Web Ad Predicts Rosy Future

John McCain has released a new, Web-only ad that suggests that a McCain administration will have accomplished almost everything on the candidate's "to do" list by 2013.

While much of the coverage today is about McCain's pledge that he will bring most American troops home from Iraq by 2013 if he is elected president, this ad also suggests his first-term accomplishments will include cleaning up Washington, fixing the nation's economy, providing health care choices and advancing the nation's renewable energy programs.

"The Middle East: stabilized. Nuclear terror threat: reduced. Border security: strengthened. Energy independence: advanced. Wasteful spending: reformed. Healthcare choice: delivered. Economic confidence: restored. The year? 2013. The president: John McCain."

Nice analysis. What are you a typist for the McCain campaign? If Obama or Hilary made some dumbass blanketed statement like that you would say "what do they plan on doing, put lithium in the drinking water". You ain't even smart enough to add "unless the obstructionist Democrats in Congress stand in his way" so that he at least has an out. Just rubberstamp the plan that doesn't exist.

what ???

no comment on the beleivability of mccain's ad ???

no comment on the dact that he now claims he is going to withdraw from Iraq by 2013 ???

last week mccain was in favor of staying in Iraq for 100 years, and this week he says he's going to withdraw troops in 4 years

you didn't notice that ???

wasn't you just ripping Obama a new one for supposedly misstating the amount of aplause he recieved at some dinner in 2007 ???

and mcsame gets a pass on this ???

what did they teach you at journalism school ???

or did you just go to clown college ???

McCain repeatedly said he would not set a date for withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. And now he has set a date for withdrawal. That's a 180.

Flip-flop. Flip-flop. Flip-flop.

you're parsing Obama's statements in TWO posts, and you STILL haven't addressed the fact that this isn't journalism BY ANY STANDARD

how about a little discussion about mccain promising everybody a pony by 2013

isn't that a topic worthy of some "added content" ???

couldn't stand the heat ???

packed it in and enrolled in barber college ???

why couldn't you do that on this ad ???

were you absent the day your journalism class discussed the concept of equal treatment for all

or did you just skip journailsm classes all together
