Black Conservative Group Rips Obama in New Radio Ads

By Darryl Fears in The Trail:

From the black conservatives who brought you radio ads two years ago claiming that the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican come the new summer blockbusters: ads calling Sen. Barack Obama a racist and an elitist.

King, of course, was an independent, not a Republican -- but that didn't stop the National Black Republican Association (NBRA) from airing their claim on urban radio. Now spots entitled "Arrogant Obama" and "Bitter Obama" are coming to radio stations serving black America, where more than 90 percent of voters supported Obama in Democratic primaries. The NBRA ads will begin airing July 7 in battleground states, according to the group's chair.

The mudslinging injects the issue of race into the presidential campaign with a ferocity unseen thus far. In voiceovers, a narrator claims that much of the Democratic Party is comprised of white racists who will never vote for Obama. The ads ignore the party's 40-year transformation from being a haven for southern Dixiecrats who blocked black progress to a haven for black voters who've helped put the vast majority of black elected officials into office, including, potentially, the first black president.

The world watches how Americans treat their presidential candidates. Are they maintaining dignity in their comments? Or are they being too judgmental on the men who would like to serve their country? May God guide the American people in their conduct of elections. God bless Senators Obama and McCain. God bless the United States of America and its people.

The $300 billion housing bailout bill, currently stalled in Congress, promises to rescue homeowners and save the economy. Comprising the core of the bill is a $300 billion increase in FHA lending permitting banks to offload their riskiest mortgages onto American taxpayers in exchange for realizing losses that would be all but a certainty

Mccain is an idiot. These black conservatives better think twice before attacking Obama when their candidate Mccain has a mini series of flip flops on youtube. Mccain has flip flop or lied on 40 different issues. This is a disgrace. How could anybody trust a word Mccain say's when he's changed position on 40 issues? Mccain would never get my vote because what ever these conservative say about Obama, I have 40 videos of Mccain flat out lying about what he said or did before. There's a difference. Mccain is caught lying on these video's and all these conservatives have against Obama is gossip. If you ever go on youtube and see Mccain lying through his teeth over and over again, there's no need to listen to stupid arguments that doesn't prove anything.

They need to rip Mccain for his 40 flip flops on youtube making him look like a liar and flip flop. Mccain should be ashamed of himself. These guys need to check their own candidate and his lies before they judge anybody. They can't prove the way Obama feels about this country or what is values are. We know Mccain is a liar because we seen the lies come straight out of his mouth over and over again. They need to blast Mccain.

Black doing this type of Negative Ads are no different than whites doing the same.

There only doing it for the money.
And you will see the same effect when it comes to facts. Nothing holds up in fact!

It's true there are many greedy Blacks as well that will in fact sell crack to people. Only for the money.

It's true all Black people are not honest.

But this election is not about Black People! This election is about GOOD PEOPLE and BAD PEOPLE. PEOPLE WITH BAD IDEAS, and PEOPLE WITH GOOD IDEAS.

But theres won thing to understand that bad people don't understand.

EVEN BAD BLACKS and WHITES are still part of the same human RACE! The deserve to still have there freedom of speach, even if later it is found to be off point, incorrect, and lead many people to make the worst choices for there health!

King was a Republican? Puh-leese! How could he be a member of the party that vehemently opposed his people's right to vote? Not to mention that he was a huge opponent of Nam and many of his ideas bordered on socialism. He was actually quite liberal and more radical than most people think. So that commercial is BS.

UMMMM. Who am I to question what the black conservatives have to say? After all, I'm just your bitter typical white person clinging to my guns and religion. Oh yeah, if it would not have been for my guns and religion, I might not be here having lived through Katrina. When we were pulling people out of the river, I don't remember saying "Hey, throw that one back, he/she is black". However, I clearly remember being shot at for fun by any number of blacks driving stolen vehicles for car lots in a neighborhood that was not on the way out of New Orleans. I finally had to leave my home and belongings in order to stay alive. I do not blame the President or FEMA. I blame the government officials in New Orleans who were sitting in Houston "Playing like" they were in New Orleans. McCain cares. McCain gets my vote.
