Democrats Hit McCain on Ohio Jobs

John McCain says he'll push for congressional hearings into the potential loss of 8,000 jobs at the Wilmington, Ohio DHL shipping operations center. This comes as Democrats have seized on the candidate's ties to efforts to bring DHL to Ohio in the first place, and the former work of his campaign manager, Rick Davis as a lobbyist for DHL's parent company.

The DNC has produced this Web-only video called "Job Killing John:"

The McCain campaign has downplayed the situation, noting McCain's vow to investigate. But we've noted before that these Web-only productions often evolve into traditional TV spots. Considering the Buckeye State's battleground status and 20 Electoral Votes, the DHL incident could become a big distraction that requires frequent explanation not only in Ohio, but along the rest of the campaign trail.

Problem isn't only jobs lost in Ohio, tough as that is for those that lose them. It's the ripple effect of lost jobs in Ohio, which effect threatens jobs elsewhere. That's notably true for the whole automotive industry.

McCaint, he'll forget about his baloney speech and "investigation" on this problem facing these workers...

...and as a true RNC/GOP moron.......allow those newly unemployed citizens at DHL not be able to receive their unemployment benefits..

....unless they dont "actively" look for work and apply at UPS and FedEx instead..

This should clench Ohio for Obama if his campaign play their cards right

Obamas Scandal is Bigger than Edwards

The implication of the Edwards scandal is that, if ABC News’s top investigative reporter could take Edwards side, without any serious checking of the facts, then other candidates may be concealing scandals and hoping and planning to get away with it. That is certainly the case with Obama, who is far more of a media favorite than Edwards ever was and has, with the help of the influential Associated Press (AP), carefully concealed his relationship with an identified CPUSA member.

Obamas communist connection, which he failed to disclose in his 1995 book, Dreams From My Father, by referring to Davis only as Frank and ignoring his communist affiliation, is a far more serious scandal than an Edwards love child.

As I commented to Michael Savage on the Savage Nation radio program last week, this is the key to understanding Obama because Davis influence over him during his high-school years in Hawaii helps explain why he would later associate with terrorists, communists and socialists.

It seems that every couple of weeks there is another revelation about McCain's ties to another lobbiest working against middle class interests. It is plain by McCain's change of mulitiple positions and the inner circle of lobbiests on his campaign that he is a man that has sold his soul for this race. Good grief, he is even in bed with Ralph Reed now for a fundraiser in Georgia. How deep in the mud will this guy go?

Found this and wanted to share:

The GOP and McCain mismanaging money and screwing up their own convention...

From the LA Times: "...executives found they [the GOP] were about $10 million short of what they needed for a celebration [convention] they had already scaled back."

The battle is won on the ground, state by state. This could indeed be very significant.

The sidewise pic of McCain in this ad makes him look like some kind of decrepit old geezer.

Of course McCain's picture looks like a decrepit old geezer. He is. What he looks like isn't the problem. The problem is that he forgets his lines, doesn't remember what he said yesterday, and in general THINKS like a decrepit old geezer.

Michael Savage is an organ grinder with a monkey that dances on his shoulder holding a tin cup. Thus he is highly credible and trustworthy. I would believe everything the man says hook, line, and sinker. Michael Savgage has also called the PBS childeren's television show Sesame Street "Communist propaganda garabge". Now there's unbiased and thoughtful insight into the state of American affairs. e should consider renaming his show "Taffy-Pulling Nation" for all the taffy pullers out there.

About the only thing Barack Hussein Obama will do is give money to those too lazy to work, too lazy to take care of their own kids, and support one world full of Muslims. Why did he vote to not invade Iraq, his own people?

To Diogenes, You truly show your lack of intelligence by your ridiculous comments. My hope is that you are not allowed to procreate.
