'Heroes': The Quick and the (Almost) Dead
Well, that's it for the Wonder Twins.
Sylar took care of Alejandro by sticking a knife in him and, to add insult to mortal stab wound, made out with Maya nearly right in front of Alejandro's still-warm body. Hey, Sylar deserves a smooch from Maya after he taught her to control her little eye-bleeding problem, doesn't he?
But he's still a very bad boy and, at show's end, he had Molly is in his deadly grasp.
Sorry, Joanna Cassidy fans -- it looks as though it's one-and-out for her Victoria character. Adam and Peter road-tripped to Maine to find her and to track down the virus. While almost blowing their heads off (presumably the only way to off Peter and Adam's breed of hero), she was a goner by the time they left -- another score for Adam.
How about Hiro's trip back to 1977 -- a minor complaint: Couldn't they have made Kaito from 30 years ago look more like his adult version? Then again, we all know what George Takei looked like 30 years ago from those darned Star Trek movies.
Niki's back in New Orleans, where not much else was going on -- until the end, when Monica and Micah went on a suicide mission to retrieve that stolen backpack. Bad move, that. Monica's in a heap of trouble in the back of a van, so let's hope she's plugged in a movie or TV show into that iPod of hers that details a moving van escape.
Claire Bear and family think Dear Dad's dead -- they even have the "ashes" from Bob to prove it, but those pesky previews (which definitively call next week's episode the "finale") reveal that they do learn of Noah's happier fate.
And we were SO close to a catfight between Claire and Elle to close the show. Is there still a chance next week? Please??
