'Project Runway': Your Picks for The Gunnys

We heard by e-mail. We heard by phone. And from one fashion-forward Washington shopkeep, we even heard by absentee ballot:

The votes have been tallied for the first GUNNY AWARDS, named for the classy Tim Gunn and bestowed upon the best and worst of the current "PR" season. The winners and "winners," such as they are:

BEST WINNING DESIGN: Christian's "Spanish military" outfit from the episode at the Met. (As Christian might say: "!Intenso!")
MOST GRACIOUS BUH-BYE: Elisa. (Her home planet has class.)
BEST SUPPORTING ROLE (FOR CHRIS MARCH): Jack. (Chris has been likable, but it's a pity we didn't get to see more of Jack's designs.)
WORST TEAM PLAYER: Victorya, just edging Rami. (They deserve each other.)
SANTINO RICE TRASH TALK AWARD: Christian. (Proof that talking smack and being the show's "fan favorite" aren't mutually exclusive.)
BEST DESIGN CHALLENGE: (Tie) The Sarah Jessica Parker challenge and the Day at the Met.

Plus, we should note that Jillian's name kept coming up as "most overrated" and "most underrated," so by that measure, she's the real wild card as we walk up to Bryant Park.

Thanks to all those who voted, and watch this space next week, because Tim Gunn himself -- the man who involuntarily lent his name to our little award -- has promised to weigh in with his picks for the Gunny and share his thoughts on the season.

Meantime, watch for Tim at the Oscars, where we'll see whether he's making it work...
