Netanyahu: 'America is a thing you can move very easily'

The United States and Israel have made a huge effort this month to patch up the sometimes difficult relationship between President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. But a newly released video of Netanyahu, speaking in an unvarnished manner in 2001 about relations with the United States and the peace process, may cause some heartburn at the White House.

"I know what America is," Netanyahu told a group of terror victims, apparently not knowing his words were being recorded. "America is a thing you can move very easily, move it in the right direction. They won't get in their way."

Netanyahu also bragged how he undercut the peace process when he was prime minister during the Clinton administration. "They asked me before the election if I'd honor [the Oslo accords]," he said. "I said I would, but ... I'm going to interpret the accords in such a way that would allow me to put an end to this galloping forward to the '67 borders. How did we do it? Nobody said what defined military zones were. Defined military zones are security zones; as far as I'm concerned, the entire Jordan Valley is a defined military zone. Go argue."

Gideon Levy, a left-leaning columnist for Haaretz newspaper, declared: "This video should have been banned for broadcast to minors. This video should have been shown in every home in Israel, then sent to Washington and Ramallah. Banned for viewing by children so as not to corrupt them, and distributed around the country and the world so that everyone will know who leads the government of Israel."

Of course, the video is from nearly ten years ago. Opinions change, based on circumstances and experience. But who knows what leaders are really saying when they think the cameras aren't filming?

Does anyone doubt the accuracy of Bibi's statement? Isn't truthfullness a virtue? It is just too bad for Americans who don't acknowledge the reality.

mr hopey changey got played. but then congress and the media wouldn't have it any other way.

close the checkbook; end the weapons transfers that all too often find their way to our country's adversaries; investigate and prosecute the israeli spies littered throughout this country's agencies and industries.

Many many of us realize that Israel has never intended to work for peace. Their agenda FOR DECADES has been to shrewdly eliminate AND replace Palestinians with Jews.

That is a simple FACT. . And even Lieberman and Schumer know it . . . . and approve!

Jimmy Carter, the Moral voice in the wilderness shouted down by JEWS who shout "Anti-Semite" at ANYONE who dares to point
out their TRUE apartheid agenda.

We are the SAME many many of us who realized that Bush was organizing a War that had no relationship to 9/11.

The Netanyahu video confirms that the Israeli Russian Khazars, like Netanyahu himself, Lieberman...etc are simply the MAJOR obstacle to peace in the ME! Also, the video confirms that US foreign policy is hostage to the Israelis' filthy designs, schemes and whims! They are taking advantage of the US political system by corrupting American politians: the Israeli Khazar groups in DC, like Aipac, contribute several millions of dollars to politians of both parties in return for sending billions of American Taxpayers money to the rogue state of Israel, a state that was described by American Generals, led by Gen.David Petraeus, as a threat to American national security! American leaders should stand up to the Israeli war criminals and defend American national interests! Shall we call those US politians who pander to the Israelis as traitors?

No surprise. Forget about a peace deal as long as Netanyahu is around.

You need look no further than the children's crusade of 2008 that gave us "hope and change." The American electorate exercises more care and caution in selecting an "American Idol" than they do a President.

The Arabs want to kill the Jews, the Jews can not make peace with that concept.

The Jews intend to stay in the neighborhood no matter what, the Arabs can not make peace with that concept.

Sadly, this dance must run until the music is over.

Once the nukes come into play, the music will stop pretty quickly.

I once was a supporter of Israel out of sympathy, from WWII. However, the time has come to put an end to this sympathy. Peace in the Middle East is much more expensive to the US than Israel.

They are not allies, they spy on us and claim friendship. The time has come to say no more. Cut off all aid and tech transfer to Israel. They are not a democracy mbut a religious state similar to Iran. Why should we tolerate this.

The time has come to say no more. Good Bye Israel!!!

The Jews have played us(The United States)like a harp for the past 60-years and it's time that someone comes and retunes the strings of David.

Netanyahu was both honest and accurate in his statement a decade ago. It still applies. Netanyahu and a lot of others are pretty happy with the status quo in the middle east--including Obama. Obama is no enemy of Israel and wants to stay friends, no matter what otherwise appears.

It's just that Obama's priorities are different. He really wants the ACORN census to succeed. He wants the new figures to bring back congressmen and electoral votes to urban ghettoes in cities in Big Blue states to insure his re-election in 2012. He wants Kagan to be confirmed to the Supreme court in his "long march" [which might take until 2016] to take it over for a socialist agenda, and he wants to change electoral laws to diminish majority rule and allow most anyone to vote, citizen or not. And, since he believe "change" will come not through the congress or even the courts, he wants to accomplish a lot by ignoring laws he doesn't like[immigration laws, for instance] but can't change alone, and bypass them with executive orders [Presidential Decrees], and administrative rules. He's pretty happy with the status quo here, too, since he's getting his way.

This video was made in 2001 when President Bush was in office. And, I agree, he was very easily manipulated. By Cheney, Addington, Gonzales, and many many many others. Including people from foreign countries.
That has no relevancy today. Why else was Israel so "miffed", after insulting our Vice President on their own ground, to discover that we actually FELT insulted?
President Obama, and really more to the point, Joe Biden who has been involved in all of these issues for most of his life, are NOT easily manipulated (which of course is why we have heard about the "trouble" between Israel and America lately).
Bibi has run into people who can't "be a thing you can move very easily" and you know what, he doesn't like it.
Therefore, you see articles about how "easily the 'thing' America is can be moved".
People who believe that American policy is being orchestrated by Israel have forgotten who America really is. We are the world'
s foremost power and Israel would be silly to forget that.

2001-2010! That's 9 long years of potentially "dishonnest dealings" with our own government, the E.U., the U.N., moderate Palestinians and Hamas individuals who chose peaceful elections over armed violence. Mr. Netanyahu often says "no preconditions for direct talks," but appears to have had "preconditions" settled in his own mind that served as possible obstacles to a peaceful resolution of the conflict. As the article suggests, people do change and conditions do change for opening the doors to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East. The time is right and the momentum is good. We would like to encourage Mr. Netanyahu to keep his word. We are certain that Mr. Netanyahu is a man of his word, and that he is seriously and honestly committed to direct talks with Palestinians as he has publicly stated so many times. With good faith and good will, the peace process can proceed towards mutually constructive results that benefit both Israeli and Palestinian families, children and young people who deserve a secure future for peaceful upbringing, educational achievement, and economic prosperity. Nothing is more essential to the peace initiative than transparency of process and honesty of intentions, based on corresponding actions that sustain mutual respect and mutual understanding, that build a strong truth-based foundation for open, sincere, heart-to-heart communication, and that will bring substantive objectives for peace, security, justice and democracy to long-lasting reality. May God shower His blessings of love and compassion upon all peacemakers engaged in this noble and righeous endavor!

War is Hell. Who are we fighting for?

Vietnam was the war of my generation. I cry and would be depressed for days after visiting the black granite wall bearing the names of those Americans who were killed in that war. They say the War was master minded by Henry Kissinger. We killed Vietnamese by thousands using our superior ground and air powers; we gave them hell. We gave them pain, they suffered by our aerial bombing and poisons, and they died by thousands. But at the end we lost the war. Because, we were in their home and they were defending their family. They were willing to die for their home.
We want to kill Iranians now. Some say because they are arrogant and would not bend our way. Iranians have never been good at that!
War is hell! Who are we fighting for? Not for me and people I know. I have enough sense in my head to know that Iranians are like us, they would feel pain and would suffer and would die. But, I know that they will not bend my way and say “Yes Master!” Would we attack them, they will give us hell. We will be in their home and they will be defending their families. Why would we be there? Ah? Israel’s government wants us to. Be serious, it has nothing to do with any nuclear bomb. If we really cared, we would have not allowed nuclear bomb in In the Middle East. There must be no exception.
"I know what America is," Netanyahu told a group of terror victims, apparently not knowing his words were being recorded. "America is a thing you can move very easily, move it in the right direction. They won't get in their way." Who has replaced Henry in the War Instigation Department? Netanyahu.

All of these comments are useless and truthless. The borders of Israel (then known as Palestine, and now called Israel) were defined by the San Remo Resolution ca. 1920, long before the UK sponsored the establishment of the Islamic state of Saudi Arabia in 1932 when the terrorist chieftain, known as Abdullah the First, seized the tribal lands of the Arabian Peninsula. Abdullah of the House of Saud utilized the same terrorist techniques and propaganda ploys currently inflicted upon the hapless nation of Israel. Israel's uneducated, ignorant, and readily tempted leadership succumbed to the bribes and blandishments of the US State Department without any understanding of the sub rosa conflict that to this day exists between the British Foreign Office and the US State Dept. Regardless, the so-called "Israeli settlements," decried by the Islamic invaders and their European pro-jihadi sympathizers, are in fact legal communities established in accord with the laws and treaties still binding the US and European states that arose pursuant to the San Remo Resolution. For the true history of the region once universally recognized as "Palestine--The Jewish Homeland," and how the UK undermined and violated the treaties that still bind it, read Prof. Howard Grief's seminal treatise on international law: "The Legal Foundation of the borders of Israel under International Law." Available at www. amazon.com. It's an eye-opener that shows the reader how to connect the dots that link the UK's not so covert relationship with the Saudis and why the UK still thinks it can dislodge US influence throughout the region and replace it with their own. The French, however, have their own ambitions and agendas and they wait with baited breath on the sidelines. Read the book--it;s a WOW! The read Craig Unger;s book: House of Bush -- House of Saud and learn how the Saudis bend the US State Dept. to its will.

Jews control the US with their control of the financial institutions and media. No US politician can afford to utter a word against the Jewish state and hope to win an election - ever. In fact it is true not only for the US but the entire Western World. The rest of the world knew about this situation years ago. Just look at who controls all the money and media in your country and you will know who rules you.
Question is, is there anything wrong with it? Not really as the Jewish money gives you jobs, healthcare, security and ultimately happiness and the Jewish media keeps you entertained. Moses occupied Palestine five thousand years ago and the Palestinians have no right to get it back

So what else is new. Netanyahu also made a speech complaining that Israel should have "transported" all the Palestinians out of the West Bank and Gaza while the world was paying attention to the Tinammen Square rebellion in China.

Any Israeli official could stand with a bullhorn on the Capitol steps and proclaim that he owns and controls the senators and congressmen within, a parade of senators and congressmen would join him and pledge allegiance to Israel, and it wouldn't make the evening news, ....because pro-Israel propagandists also control what is said in the msm.

Some other famous quotes by our masters:

......Admiral Thomas Moorer, then chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, told Israeli military attach Mordecai Gur that the U.S. could not give Israel warplanes equipped with the Maverick air-to-land antitank missiles because the U.S. had only one squadron of such planes and Congress "would raise hell" if the Pentagon gave it away.

"You get the airplanes; I'll take care of Congress, " Gur told Moorer. Describing that conversation, Moorer added: "And he did. I've never seen a president-I don't care who he is-stand up to them. It just boggles your mind. They always get what they want."..........

........"Let me tell you very clear. Don´t worry about the Americans, we jews control the Americans, and the Americans know it" -Arial Sharon...........

Netanyahu only said what we all know !
U.S foreign policicy is hostage to the Jewish lobby and Israel never bulges. it is
a shame that shoud bother U.S public opinion.
It is also extremely dangerous for the U.S.
Jihad through Al Quaeda attacked the U.S on
9/11 because the U.S sponsors Israel. Thus
3000 American lives where lost. Another attack is likely. As a matter of fact the question is not if but when !!! Is Obama going to take the risk of another 9/11 ?
If the U.S is attacked again he is doomed.
U.S public opinion is likely to finally turn against Israel . At the end of the day
Israel will end up on its own. Meanwhile
Palestinians continue to be an errant people and Gaza is nothing but a concentration camp. It is morally and politically unaceptable. How many more Americans will have to die before the U.S
changes its foreign policy and stops being
hostage of Isarel and its lobby in Washington ? How many ?

Reality is, Jew's in Israel have rights that they are denied everywhere in the world except MAYBE the USA. Generations of men and women from around the world planned and implemented the establishment of the State of Israel as a beacon of democracy and western values. Lives and property were sacrificed in untold numbers even before the catastrophe of WW2. All the while, small minded and hypocritical RACISTS came up with conspiracy theories about the origins of the Jews, like the Khazar libel, maintaining a clearly immoral viewpoint on the value of human life. Israel is the only place in the Middle East where an American flag does not offend people or get burned in effigy. Any land the Arabs control becomes a cesspool of decrepit infrastructure, lawlessness, child torture, and unbelievably, more unmentionable corruption. In contrast, Israel stands like lady liberty for oppressed people who cannot find a more modern example of what used to be the American dream(go ask the Kurds). Benjamin Netanyau's own brother died on the 4the of July in 1976 while saving the lives of American and Israeli hostages. Jews and Israeli's have never ruled the USA but considering the disproportionate sacrifices they have made to nurture American liberty throughout the world, we would not be THE world power without them.

Bibi's comments are no real news for those who have been following Middle Eastern affairs. The real significance of Kessler's article is that it's the first time the WashPo has ever actualy reported a claim about the power of the Israel lobby without trying to paint it as an "anti-Semitic canard."

Slowly, within the past year or two, the concept of the Lobby has gradually been forcing it's way into polite conversation, despite ferocious opposition. So there is some hope that we can take back our foreign policy. Let's just hope we get to do it before the bombs start falling on Iran.

When Israel Speaks America Listens

United States needs Israel as a a friend, to maintain balance in the Middle East region. In order to return favor, Israel has twisted United States any way it can to fulfill its' interests. Thus, United States provides huge funding to Israel to accomplish its' requirements, to dominate the region. Israel also has monopolized American policymakers to adopt policies in its' favor. Israel has squeezed United States to a point, that any opposition to Israel's policy by United States, would negatively affect either winning in elections, or losing positions in public offices.

Therefore, United States is at the mercy of what's best for Israel. United States does not have any choice, but to swallow whatever Israel does or says.
You have to pay the price to gain favors in return.

Hello, what further can you find to try and tarnish Israel. This was said 10 years ago, and scenarios change. In the meantime, America had voted foolishly to elect a stranger to the White House, one whose agendas and ultimate aims will still become clear. And on the horizon looms Iran. Yet you and the misguided ones, many on this page, bleat on about Israel, the only progressive, ethical place in the Middle East. Unfortunately she is surrounded by regressive, immoral and aggressive Islamic states, who have to be the peace partners.

This is not the first outburst of honesty from the Netanyahoo government. Last year, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, said publicly "Believe me, America accepts all our decisions."

"Lieberman: U.S. to accept any Israeli policy decision" (Haaretz, April 29, 2009).

Isn't it great to see the United States of America prostrate itself to a hostile foreign power?

Can we just send our tax payment checks directly to Israel instead of the US Treasury? Can we change to pledge of allegiance to recognize Israel as our master? Can we put Yigal Amir on the $5 bill? Or rabbi Ovadia Yosef on $10 bill?

Disgusting - the sickening part is Bibi is for once telling the truth with this gloat

Brent Snowcroft said the same thing about George Bush being as if hypnotized or mesmerized by the Israelis. Sharon has gloated about having the US wrapped around their finger - all the Israeli pols say the same thing.

Thanks Sen Joe Lieberman and the rest of the Israeli Lobby - this is the result of the work of people like you and AIPAC and you should be ashamed though somehow I bet you and Charles Krauthammer are actually pleased as punch. Sickening

As for Obama I find it particular disturbing for our first African-American president to be acting as if in slavery for Israel - it's so demeaning and exactly the wrong lesson to teach our next generation. Not a slave by birth but a slave by choice for a little country in the Middle East - that's the lesson he's teaching his daughters and America.

Obama was not born on a plantation in the 1800s but by choice and by cowardice has to say 'yes, master' to Bibi and the Israelis. Unimaginable and so demeaning to the office of the Presidency and to America let alone himself

I've said this several times but it will take several great Americans going down and being destroyed before the 4th or 5th one remains standing in the face of AIPAC and Israel Lobby assaults and puts an end to this charade

The elephant in this story is that Netanyahu was right about Oslo all along.

That's quite a big elephant.
