Admissions 101: Attention, Top U.S. High Schools
In his Admissions 101 discussion group, Jay asks:
This year I have resumed my role -- previously ceded to researchers half my age -- as principal data collector for Newsweek's annual Top High Schools list. I said on the forms we sent out that the deadline was March 31, because several educators said their culture demanded such deadlines. But I didn't mean it. We still have plenty of time, at least two weeks. So if you have the form and haven't emailed it back to me yet, don't worry. Just fill it out and send it to this email address: firstname.lastname@example.org. It won't take more than five minutes, if that.
If your school has appeared on the list in the past and you have NOT received the form, please let me know by email at both email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. If your school has not been on the list in the past, but gave at least as many AP, IB or Cambridge exams in 2008 as it had graduating seniors, please e-mail me so I can send you the form. Please forward this message to anyone you know that you think could use it. Thanks.
