Best education blogs for 2010 to be revealed Friday

The excitement is mounting. My friendly rival Post education blogger Valerie Strauss and I have surfed every online beach, consulted every expert, considered every possible consideration and come up with our list of the 20 best education blogs for 2010. Since we have disqualified the distinguished legendary ed bloggers that we list permanently on our sites, this new list will be as fresh as the rustic sourdough bread at my local bakery (which I am often too late to purchase given slovenly journalistic morning habits.)

Tune in Friday. I will post the list at 5:30 a.m. I will of course not be conscious at that moment, and will likely not arise until five or six hours later, but thankfully the young people who supervise our web site have given me this miraculous tool, called Movable Type, which lets me schedule stuff for automatic posting days, even weeks in advance. (Which explains why it looked like I was busy over the holidays. I wasn't.)

Once you have seen our choices, please tell us where we went wrong. There is always next year.
