Meta-Post: 'MADtv' parody predicted Apple's 'iPad' long ago [VIDEO]
In the wake of Steve Jobs's "Greetings, Consumers of Earth" Announcement on Wednesday, the product name "iPad" is an instant cultural "trending topic."
Thing is, when it comes to that name, Apple apparently chose not to "think different." Years ago, the sketch-comedy show "MADtv" beat Jobs to the punch-line with this parody commercial. (And thanks to Rob Tornoe for alerting us to it.)

I still say that the interests of the readership are best indicated by the number of comments that get attached to each posting. For the vast majority of recent "meta", "comedy", and "film/YouTube video" posts, the number of comments has been firmly glued to zero.
