LIVE CHAT TODAY: 'Rhymes With Orange's' Hilary Price fields your questions

By Michael Cavna

When Comic Riffs helped launch The Post's "America's Next Great Cartoonist" Contest, one of the dozen cartoonists we were quite pleased said "yes" to our invitation to guest-judge was "Rhymes With Orange" creator HILARY PRICE.

Comic Riffs met Price at this year's National Cartoonist Society Reuben Awards, where she rightly picked up her second division award for Best Newspaper Panel. Price's cartoons are inventive, whimsical and precise in their loose line. They are also smart.

I'm also pleased because Price has agreed to a second request: In precisely one hour (11 a.m. ET), Price will conduct a live Post chat, fielding your questions about judging the contest, as well as about her strip, her career and the field of syndicated cartooning. To get to the chat, you can click HERE.

And to vote in the final balloting to determine which of the five finalists will be The Post's "Next Great Cartoonist," you can click HERE.

And while you're peppering Price with questions, you can always ask her about this scrapbooked photo, which answers the burning question: Just what kind of bedfellows do cartoonists make? (Hint as to their identities: Think "Frazz," "Speed Bump" and "Pearls Before Swine.")
