'NEXT GREAT CARTOONIST': 'IMOGEN QUEST' creator never met-a gag she didn't like
Here's today's "IMOGEN QUEST" comic from Olivia Walch, the 21-year-old winner of The Post's "America's Next Great Cartoonist Contest." So, what's the story -- if not the meta-story -- behind today's comic?
"I stated from the the beginning that whenever I could not come up with an idea, I would go with a cheap meta-gag," Walch tells Comic Riffs. "And lo, I have gone for the cheap meta-gag.
"This is another one from the Greco-Roman week."
If you have feedback about "Imogen Quest's" monthlong run in Style and on Comic Riffs, feel free to share your impressions.

Yeah, as long as you don't break the 4th wall *too* often, it's funny when you do.

Works for me as long as it is funny, and it was. I even like PBS when Pastis has to use Cathy or Hagar characters to make the joke work.
