Reunited--And It Feels So Good
For a column on Valentine's Day I found a once-in-a-lifetime couple: two young Washingtonians who had known each other as children, vowed to get married, then lost touch for close to 20 years. They found each other again and will be wed on New Year's Eve.
Now I need your help in making this a twice-in-a-lifetime story. The Washington Post Magazine is searching for high school or college sweethearts who lost touch years ago but, after living separate lives, have reignited that old flame and are planning to marry this spring or summer. The plan is to feature this couple in the Magazine's fall wedding issue. If you're the lucky bride or groom, or you know someone who is, please send an e-mail to gapsm@washpost.com.
Just imagine the family heirloom you'll have to pass on to your kids.
