It Must Be a Sign: Spotted Around Town

It doesn't take much to amuse me. These two photos are enough to brighten up my Wednesday. This first one was spotted at the corner of Central and Southern avenues by J Creamer of Annapolis:

I guess it's a just few burned out light bulbs that transformed "Click it or ticket" into "lick it or ticket" -- unless perhaps some perverts have infiltrated the police department.

I saw this slightly modified sign last night on Monroe Street NW, just off 16th:

Perfect for Hump Day.

If you've seen a sign that made you smile, snap a photo and send it to me at kellyj@washpost.com.

I'm surprised that no one has put up zombie warnings:

I get tired of seeing "Click it or Ticket", how about "Buckle it or Knuckle it", with a policeman shaking a fist?

I always got a kick out of "Blind Pedestrian". Is it giving me information, or instructing me to commit violence?
