Photo Flashback Week, Day 4
I love today's picture. It may be my favorite of the week. It was in a photo file about the Capital Transit Strike of 1945:
The caption: ALWAYS ROOM FOR TWO MORE. Cab driver George Oliver (right) smiles as he opens the door for a couple of tired pedestrians in Washington the night of Nov. 6, Pvt. Kenneth Van Ness (left) and his pick-a-back passenger Jane Van Ness (no relation), both of Washington. Cabs did a big business as the bus and trolley work stoppage continued. ASSOCIATED PRESS PHOTO.
Surely you can provide a funnier caption. Share it in the Comments below.
