A tragic shooting, a gripping photo
On Tuesday, the New York Post published a story about a teenaged girl shot in the head during a shootout in the Bronx:
A 15-year-old girl was caught in the middle of a Bronx shootout while walking home from school yesterday -- and was fighting for her life early today after taking a bullet to the head.
Of note: the dramatic photograph that accompanied the story, which shows the girl lying on the ground surrounded by onlookers, one of them kneeling at the girl's side. Blood appears to be coming from her head, which rests on the sidewalk.
You can read the story and view the photo on the Post's web site.
