Arrest in D.C. fatal shooting

D.C. police have arrested a Maryland man in connection with Monday's killing of Gregory Joyner, 28.
Carl Purvis, 45, of Capitol Heights, is charged with first-degree murder while armed.
Joyner was found with a gunshot wound at about 9:15 p.m. in the 200 block of K Street SW. He died shortly after at an area hospital, police said.
