Fatal accident in Howard

A driver was killed in Howard County after a two-car accident on Route 32 at about 10:20 Tuesday night.
Anna Artapova, 23, the driver of a 2008 Nissan Versa, was heading east of I-95 when her car left the roadway, hit a guardrail on the left shoulder and stopped in the center lane. She got out of the car to safety and called 911. Shortly after, a 1991 Honda Accord traveling east on Route 32 smashed into the Nissan, killing the driver.
Howard County police have not yet released the name of the deceased. Speeding was a factor in both accidents, police said.
