Man shot at Prince George's pharmacy

A 42-year-old man was shot at the Kay Cee pharmacy in District Heights at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Prince George's police.
He was taken to a local hospital.
We are checking into reports that the shooting stemmed from a robbery at the store, in the 6100 block of Old Silver Hill Road.
Initial reports were that the victim worked at the pharmacy, but an employee who answered the phone said that was not the case. The employee declined to offer other details.
Update, 2 p.m.:
The man who was shot at a District Heights pharmacy was delivering chips to the store when someone tried to rob him, police said. He is being treated at a local hospital.
he assailant did not get any cash, according to police. It happened just outside the back door of the pharmacy.
Police say there is a look out for a six-foot tall black man wearing a dark blue puffy jacket with a hood, a white polo shirt with a dark blue stripe and light blue jeans.
