Her husband, Bernardo Paz Flores-Olvera, 32, is being held without bond, police said. He has a bail review hearing scheduled for Thursday at 1 p.m. in Rockville District Court.

The husband and wife lived together with their three children, according to police.

Police say Flores-Olvera stabbed his wife with a knife and another sharp instrument, both of which were recovered by investigators. Two of their children, ages three months and two years, were home at the time of the assault. Flores-Olvera later took them to a family member's home, according to police.
