A man was killed by a snow plow in a hit-and-run accident in Pasadena as he walked in the roadway, Anne Arundel police said.

He was walking along Mountain Road east of Edwin Raynor Boulevard because plowed snow was piled up next to the roadway, police said.

It happened about 2:30 a.m. when, according to witnesses, a Red Ford pickup truck with a snow plow in the front hit him, police said.

The man, Richard Francis Oles, 77, of 170 Circle Road in Pasadena, was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Police ask anyone with information about the accident to call 410-222-8573 or 410-222-8610.
