Washington Post Editors

Montgomery County Police have identified Thomas Lee Miller, 32, of Rockville as the man found dead in his cell early Sunday morning in the county jail.

He was found hanging from his bed with a bedsheet around his neck.

Authorities said correctional officers had been checking on him every half hour, and that detectives are investigating the death.

No foul play is suspected, authorities said.
