Man taken off plane at Reagan National

A man wanted in Delaware was taken off of a Spirit Airlines plane that had just landed at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Tuesday morning, officials said.
The man, who authorities did not name, had an open warrant for failing to appear in court, said Rob Yingling, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.
He was arrested at about 9:30 a.m. on the plane, which had come from Ft. Lauderdale.
Passengers were held at the gate for about 20 minutes while Authority police checked passengers' identifications, Yingling said. When they found their man, they took him into custody without incident.
Yingling said airport police were tipped off that the man was on the flight by another agency.
"Everything went smoothly," he said.

Lame... Really? How much did we just pay for someone to be sent back to their state for a simple failure to appear charge?

They held up the rest of the passengers for one persons failing to appear in court? Why not put them on the no-fly list. God knows they put just about everybody on the list anyway. And while we're at it how about putting the following people on the no-fly list:
1. people who fail to pay federal taxes
2. people who fail to pay child support
3. people who have not voted in 2 elections
4. people who are guilty of bad taste
5. people Rush Lumburger like

Put persons weighing over 200 pounds on the no-fly list. I effing hate sitting next to fat people who ooze into my seat space. Enough. Pigs should not fly. Really.
