2 deadly stabbings in Anne Arundel
Anne Arundel County police say two men were fatally stabbed in separate incidents.
Police say one man was stabbed as he fought with another man in the parking lot of the Cromwell Field Shopping Center in Glen Burnie on Saturday evening.
Police say 43-year-old James Anthony Liberto of Glen Burnie was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore where he later died. They have charged 39-year-old Roland Michael Long with second-degree murder.
A short time later, officers were called to Meade Village Circle in Severn, where they found 46-year-old Ghulam Farooq of Baltimore suffering from an apparent stab wound.
Police say Farooq was delivering food to the area when he was robbed and assaulted. He died at Shock Trauma. Police have no suspects in Farooq's slaying.
