50 yrs. for 2010 Md. murder
A Severna Park man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison in the stabbing death of a woman whom he followed home from a bar after an argument.
Twenty-two-year-old Francis Adams was sentenced on Monday.
He had pleaded guilty last month to first-degree murder in the death of 52-year-old Debra Lynn Gill.
Prosecutors say Adams got into an argument with Gill outside a bar on May 29 and followed her and her boyfriend in their car to Gill's apartment, where he stabbed her as she sat in the driver's seat of her car.

I think that Francis Adams got off too light... that pathetic little wretch ought to remain in prison for the remainder of his natural life doing hard time with a pick ax in a sulphur mine.

I think people want and eye for an eye to much sometimes. It would be nice for Mr. Adams to suffer, but dont forget prison is not easy. This idiot has 50 years to think about what he did and nothing left if he gets out. I know it sounds nice to have people suffer terrible pains for commiting crimes, but if 50 years in prison is not horrible, then try it. To me the bastard got what he desernves, but i would have made it life without parole.

Several news accounts indicate that Francis Adams' girlfriend, Danielle Swain (also of Severna Park), participated in the murder by goading him to commit violence against Gill and her companion. What became of any charges filed against her?
Too many people are brutalized and murdered because by insecure, hair-trigger-temper violent rage-a-holics like Adams because of perceived slights and acts of "disrespect" blown way out of proportion.
