Md. woman, 83, sexually assaulted
An 83-year-old woman in Anne Arundel County told detectives she was sexually assaulted early Monday morning by a man who broke into her home.
Police were called to her residence on Country Club Drive in Glen Burnie shortly after 1 a.m. The victim said that after the man sexually assaulted her he fled on foot.
Several officers and a police dog canvassed the area, but couldn't find the suspect. Police described him as a white male in his early 20s with a large build, wearing long pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and a dark-colored scarf covering his face.
This description is different than that in two cases involving older victims in Montgomery County, which occurred some 35 miles away.
Anyone with information on the attack is asked to call Detective Guy, at 410-222-3416, or a general police number, 410-222-8610.
