Shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to the 8100 block of Glen Hollow Drive in Glen Burnie for a report of a woman lying in a roadway, officials said.
They found the woman, 41, in a parking lot, with apparent head trauma. She was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police found "broken glass at the scene that appeared to have come from a beer bottle and the victim identified her ex-boyfriend as the suspect who assaulted her with the bottle," police said in a statement Monday morning.
