Fatal hit-and-run in Anne Arundel
A Glen Burnie woman was killed in a hit-and-run in Anne Arundel County on Thusrday, according to police.
Officers responded to the area of Cross Creek Drive and Highlander Drive in Glen Burnie at approximately 10:17 p.m.Thursday for a report of a body lying in the street.
The 43-year-old female victim, Dawn Lynn Gable, sustained massive trauma to her body and was declared dead at the scene, police said.
She had been dragged by a vehicle headed east on Cross Creek Drive, police said.
