House fire kills one in Anne Arundel
Anne Arundel County fire officials are investigating the cause of a two-alarm house fire in Edgewater that killed one person.
Fire department spokesman Division Chief Michael Cox says the fire was reported around 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the home on Bayview Drive.
Cox says firefighters found a body on the second floor, but authorities have not released the person's identity or further details about the victim.
It took 83 firefighters about 25 minutes to bring the fire under control.
Cox says the area is not serviced by fire hydrants, so crews had to bring water to the scene in tankers.
