Man arrested, charged with shooting at Anne Arundel deputy
Authorities have arrested a man and charged him with attempted murder for shooting at a vehicle driven by an Anne Arundel County sheriff's deputy.
Authorities say Rodney Divine was arrested Sunday morning after he fired a pistol at a sheriff's vehicle being driven by Sgt. Carl Schanberger.
A statement from the sheriff's office says Sgt. Schanberger was at Divine's home serving a warrant for robbery on Divine's daughter when the incident occurred just before 8 a.m.
A spokesman for the sheriff's office says Schanberger was not injured.
