One arrested, one sought in Md. killing
Authorities have charged two individuals, and arrested one, in connection with a July 1 shooting death in Anne Arundel County.
Anne Arundel officers responded to a Brooklyn Park home at about 5:35 p.m. in response to reports of a shooting, authorities said. They found Adam R. Bucklew, 21, suffering from gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene.
On Wednesday, county police recieved warrants charging two men with first and second-degree murder and other charges, the police said in a Thursday press release. The charges included robbery, police said, which appears to be the motive in the killing.
On Thursday night, one of the suspects, Ricky L. Mason, 22, of no fixed address, was found in Baltimore and arrested, police said. He is being held without bail.
Investigators continue to seek the second suspect, who was not named. Authorities ask anyone with information about this killing to call Detective Norval Cooper at 410-222-3453 or the Anne Arundel County Police Department at 410-222-8610.
