Second arrest in Arundel killing
A 22-year-old Severna Park woman has been arrested on charges that include first-degree murder, second-degree murder and robbery in connection with a May double stabbing in which one victim died, authorities said Friday.
Danielle Swain, 22, was arrested Thursday afternoon at her East Drive home, Anne Arundel police officials said. She is charged in connection with a May 29 attack in which Debra Lynn Gill, 52, of Pasadena, was killed and a 25-year-old man was injured.
Swain is the second person arrested in the case. Francis E. Adams, 22, of Severna Park, also has been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder and other offenses, police said.
Police said the initial investigation shows the suspects and victims argued the evening of the incident, and that the suspects followed the victims to the parking lot in the 8000 block of Corkberry Lane in Pasadena where the stabbing occurred. The male victim also was robbed, police said.
Polcie said they were called to the parking lot just before 3 a.m. on May 29. Officers found Gill and the 25-year-old man suffering from stab wounds, police said. Gill died later at the hospital. The man has recovered.
