Two charged in Md. rock throwing
Two 17-year-old Anne Arundel County youths have been charged as adults in connection with a series of incidents in which rocks were thrown at pedestrians, including an 84-year-old woman and a jogger, from a passing car, police said.
Wade Korvin, 17, of Odenton, is charged as an adult with five counts each of first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, police said. Wesley Stryker, 17, of Millersville is charged as an adult with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
On Wednesday evening, police said, a 35-year-old man reported that he was jogging on the shoulder of Grover Road in Millersville when a Toyota Camry passed him, then returned and nearly struck him.
The jogger said a passenger leaned out the window and threw a rock that struck him, causing him to fall to the ground. Before the car left, the jogger was able to get the tag number, which led them to the teens.
Police said the case is believed to be linked to two similar incidents the same evening. In one case, an 84-year-old woman and an 86-year-old man were walking
near Ben Oaks Drive and Ben Oaks Drive West in Severna Park when a vehicle swerved toward them and the driver threw a rock that struck the woman, police said.
In the other incident, a man and his adult daughter were on Sheffield Road in Severna Park when both were struck by a rock thrown from a passing car.

So, they like the idea of stoning, huh? Well, that should be arranged.
