Arlington woman dies in parking garage accident
An 86-year-old woman died in a single-car accident in a parking garage Monday, according to Arlington police.
Lowana R. Spencer of Arlington was driving into a parking garage in the 900 block of North Taylor Street, police said, when she hit the exterior security door about 4:20 p.m.
The car then continued into the garage, police said, hitting a pillar. Spencer was taken to a nearby hospital, where she died.
